Mdel can be used t evaluate bth water quantity and quality issues and cncerns relative t springs prtectin. Better mdels can be cnstructed in Flrida s Karst Belt if adequate time is taken t thughtfully address imprtant karst data (spring flws, caves, swallets, tracer testing) Mdels that dn t address these features can be dangerusly wrng and misleading. If the mdels we ve been using were wrking well, we might nt be here tday. Cca-Cla s Santa Fe River Mdel is nw publically available.
