Use Altimeter to boost vertical accuracy Guide user to each grid point Upload Data via cell phone

10 Rodrigues Island Project (80,000 PEOPLE) Isolated Africa island in the Indian Ocean Mostly farmers with low income and African Origin Over 80% drop in income due to water scarcity / drought Unable to buy food for family or pay bills. Rapidly rising costs for food & Essentials Few jobs available on island and too poor to leave. Ideally suited for micro-check dams. Lots of rain Want to Demonstrate with 30 farmers then expand to 300. Once trained they can run on their own Need 240K for initial project. First Project Business Model

13 Why Farmers as Initial Focus point Focus on farmers is based on need Once We train & Demonstrate Farmers will install more on their own making the process self sustaining. Overall island may benefit more by focusing on Aquifer Recharge This requires involvement of local government, prioritizing budgets, etc. The planning cycle is longer with more skill navigating local budget priorities. Still valuable The Two approaches are complementary We hope success with the farmers will help accelerate larger scale adoption by local government.
