Visit our stand J20 in hall 3 to discover the completely revised user interface and the extended range of functions of windream BPM 6.5. User Friendly Innovations The new windream BPM version 6.5 is presented with a completely revised user interface. The windream BPM Client as well as the BPM Designer have become even more intuitive and easier to handle. Furthermore, the range of functions of the windream BPM Client and the BPM Designer has been extended and several especially user friendly features have been added. 2 Newsletter for windream end users Page 2 This way the new version of the windream BPM Client allows users to create tab pages and filter functions to increase transparency. Additionally, further functions are available for all lists of the BPM Client, for example the order or progress lists to adjust process views user specifically. That includes extended options for grouping and sorting lists, fading in and out of column views and highly efficient filters. A new find function allows searches for expressions via optical highlighting. This way, for example, a specific invoice amount can be retrieved within a tab page in a filtered order list called Auditing. The progress bar has been revised as well and allows quick access to the essential information of a workflow: Who did what in a workflow? And finally the document preview via windream DocView with all features and possibilities has been integrated into version 6.5 of the windream BPM Client. The new windream BPM Designer offers additional so-called controls for type independent input support. That includes, for example, a calendar selection at date fields that can be used for tables as well. For process modeling and for controlling the project flow, windream BPM 6.5 now allows users to pause a workflow until a concrete point of time. If this point of time is reached, the workflow will be reactivated automatically and assigned to the respective editor. 7 Newsletter for windream end users Seite 7 Operating Income 2016 windream Continues Successful Growth Course For the financial year 2016 windream was once again able to achieve double-digit sales growth. The most significant factors for this continuous company success are the sustained high number of new subscribers and the high demand for our software products for digitalization of business and document management processes as well as strategic partnerships with internationally operating companies. Return on Earnings and Sales Once Again in Two-Digit Range Compared to 2015 the earnings rose (income before tax) by 22 percent. The return on sales before tax as well amounted 21 percent. The number of employees increased continuously as well. While in 2015, 80 employees worked for windream, the number of employees is currently at 85 already. New recruitments were especially made in the areas of software development and consulting. New Customers from Different Sectors Windream was able to gain approximately 140 new customers from very different sectors in Amongst the new windream customers are, for example, concardis GmbH from Eschborn, a payment service provider for credit card payment, Kambly SA from Switzerland, one of the country s leading producers of pastry, Continental Tires Germany GmbH from Hannover, Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH (the public transport company of the city of Göttingen) and the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences ISAS e.v. from Dortmund.

8 Newsletter for windream end users Seite 8 Strategic Partnerships with International Focus Roger David, CEO and founder of windream GmbH, on the positive operating result: The successful last business year is to a large degree based on our strategic partner business. Strong alliances with companies that complement our product portfolio and promote it on the market actively will be of great importance for us. Before this background we are expecting significant impulses for international business, especially from a new partner in the USA. For the current business year of 2017 we are expecting a continuous growth as well as for the previous one and are looking forward to facing new challenges. Attention: Important Update WMCtrl_Patch for windream Versions 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 For windream versions 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 we each have released the WMCtrl_Patch. We urgently recommend installing this patch for windream servers, windream terminal servers and for windream clients. The patch corrects a rarely occurring misbehavior in 64 Bit environments. In exceptional cases this can have the following consequences: Access to an archived document will not be granted Error message during windream search or searches that are conducted via windream interfaces Registration of a user to the windream system is denied Indexing dialog loses connection to windream
