Active risk management With D&B Connect you may request all information directly out of your Dynamics NAV system. The information stored in your Dynamics NAV system will be compared with D&B. You can access economy information within the D&B data base which will be linked with your data in your Dynamics NAV system. This coding scheme composed of nine numbers will clearly identify every business company at any time worldwide. The matching of the Dynamics NAV master data will be carried out by D&B. At this the contact number will be connected to the correspondent D&B D-U-N-S number. According to D&B feedback the D-U-N-S number will be written into data field in your Dynamics NAV master data. You achieve an optimal transparency of your data and avoid duplicates. Working with D&B Connect You would like to get some information about a business company e.g. to check their credit rating. With several search keys like the name of the company or the D&B D-U-N-S number you can start your inquiry at the D&B data base online through to your Dynamics NAV system. You receive a hit list which is sorted according to the confidence search factor: The company with the highest matching percental parameters will be listed first. The amount of the shown hits is freely definable. Out of this hit list you can choose the company you are looking for to create a vendor, a customer or a contact in your Dynamics NAV system. Even if the required company was not found in the D&B data base, you have the possibility to start right out of your Dynamics NAV an online search with D&B. According to your selected product you will get current business information concerning company structure, risk information, financial figures, economic indicator and so on. ( see image 2) If a requested product is not available, you have the possibility to start an inquiry right out of your Dynamics NAV system to get an updated report. History All information will be shown in an overview for you to refer to at any time. All requested and imported information is stored there and can be seen with just one mouse click. A special early-warning system will keep you informed about every change. If you order information about a business company as a company report via D&B Connect, you receive a structured presentation as a snap-reading method. To get notice when a company s situation changes you may set up D&B monitoring. Monitoring is possible for every product. The requested data will automatically be observed and - if there are any changes - always the current data will be shown. In a special overview all changes since your last update will be shown. ( see image 4) Furthermore it is possible to get a general view to see all monitorings with their status. Early-warning system inclusive with the DunTrade Module The integration of the DunTrade -Module into D&B Connect provides you with a reliable early-warning system. Changes in payment history are often a first sign for possible financial difficulties of a company. Monitoring of payment history therefore allows you to forecast the likelihood of business risk failure. (see image 5)

6 Page 6 Special solution D&B Connect The DunTrade program developed by D&B shows an objective view in reference to payment history and performance of a company. Every year D&B collects scores of billing data to analyze the payment history of a company. Out of this payment expert knowledge D&B determines a payment index an effective early-warning indicator for possible liquidity problems of a company. Any desired analysis with individual aspects can be displayed by settin up filters for particular data, e.g.: requested D&B information all business partners you are monitoring information without assignment of business partners new customers/debitors for planned information existing doublets or interdependencies of companies

All analysis may be exported as csv-files for external processing. Data communication is carried out online via XML-interface. D&B Connect is running with all versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV starting version 4.0 and higher.
