SY15 New Automation Productivity Tool - Application Code Manager 2 hours Quickly build your automation projects using the new Application Code Manager. This lab will provide you the opportunity to create a new project from scratch by selecting library objects and providing configuration data. Once all the configuration (not programming) is complete you will initiate a project bulk build that you will be able to download to a controller to run. This session will also cover how to create and maintain reusable code stored in libraries. SY17 FactoryTalk AssetCentre 2 hours This hands-on lab allows you to choose the topics that are most interesting to you. Topics include: what s new, remote computers and binders, working with files/folders, configuration security, building reports, asset definition and configuration, audit log information. For first-time users, there s a section on a day-in-the-life of FactoryTalk AssetCentre product capabilities from an operator s perspective, including the newest features. SY24 WIN-911: Enterprise Edition Strategic Alarm Notification Discussion 1 hour WIN-911 Software will discuss WIN-911 Enterprise Edition strategic alarm notification for Rockwell Automation s FactoryTalk Alarm & Events. We will demonstrate the ability to create complex alarm escalation and reporting scenarios using new WIN-911 Tactics and Strategies with advanced notification workflows. Technology TF01 Introduction to Virtualisation for Manufacturing Environments 1 hour Many manufacturers understand the benefits a virtual infrastructure can bring to the production environment, but don t know where to start. This session covers the use of virtualisation in the manufacturing segment, considerations for implementing a virtualised solution and the set of virtualised templates offered by Rockwell Automation designed to help simplify the transition. SQL Server CLR (Common Language Runtime), SSRS, leveraging report templates from knowledgebase, and the Unified Production Model will be among the topics discussed. Visualisation VZ06 FactoryTalk View Site Edition: Building Applications (Part 1) 2 hours If you are new to FactoryTalk View Site Edition, or need a refresher on basics, this hands-on lab allows you to pick and choose from subjects related the basic building blocks for a FactoryTalk Site Edition application. Topics include screen creation, setting up data logs and trending, alarm setup and configuration, and an introduction to the new HTML 5 version of FactoryTalk ViewPoint. VZ07 FactoryTalk View Site Edition: Building Applications (Part 2) 2 hours If you are an experienced FactoryTalk View Site Edition application developer, this lab session allows you to pick and choose from subjects related to more advanced capabilities. Topics include working with security, common applications for VBA, database connectivity, global objects, application navigation techniques, using the FactoryTalk VantagePoint trend in FactoryTalk View Site Edition, and using the new HTML 5 version of FactoryTalk ViewPoint. VZ10 Extending FactoryTalk View Site Edition with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services 2 hours Are you delivering more systems using Remote Desktop Services and thin clients? These decisions need to be based on clear information from your visualisation systems.
