6 6 GIT LARGE FILE STORAGE (LFS) Git LFS support in TeamForge enables users to version audio, video, graphics, datasets, binaries, and other sizeable files used in web, gaming, and mobile application development, animation, multimedia, scientific research, and other projects. Rather than directly including large files in a Git repository, LFS references the files to keep size manageable and prevent the increased maintenance requirements and performance issues that arise when a repository becomes too large.
