We will discuss the challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them. Attendees will have the opportunity for a Q&A with the panelists, so bring your comments, questions and experiences to share. 1-7 Bridging the Gap: Operations & Accounting Working Together (1 of 2) Who Should Attend: CPA's, Owners, Controllers, Accounting and Project Managers Learning Objectives/Description: Project managers understand project management. We will talk about the collection of, payment of and documentation of sales and use tax. Best practices for paying to the appropriate state agencies on time will be discussed. We will discuss how the software can be used to track these taxes. In this session, we will show you how easy it is to make your reports run for you using several software tools. We will give you the pros and cons of each and tips to decide which tool is right for you. You will see firsthand how easy automation setup can be along with a real-world example of how much money you can save. 2-4 Analytics: Extracting Data from Sage to define, Predict, and Improve Business Performance Who Should Attend: Learning Objectives/Description: Discover what your data can do in this informative session on Business Intelligence. We will look at emerging trends in BI that will show you how to leverage data strategically. We will demonstrate how they can easily pay for themselves and how to pitch these tools to decision makers. This session will also include a LIVE DEMO of one of these RMM tools. 2-7 Cloud Computing: Who Owns Your Data and How to Protect It 3

Learning Objectives/Description: Explore in a digital world with growing numbers of mobility devices how you could be risking the data you own and not even know it. What can you do to protect yourself and your data? Steps you can take to ensure that you are protecting your work product and your intellectual rights. 2-8 Disaster Planning & Recovery for the Real World Who Should Attend: Anyone Learning Objectives/Description: In this session we will discuss the components and the necessity of a Disaster and Recovery Plan (DRP). Industry standards and best practices will be presented and discussed; however, the scope of this session is how to apply these practices and standards to your real world environments while still making them successful. 2-9 Sage Security: What is It, How to Do It, and Managing It Who Should Attend: Anyone responsible for configuring security in Sage 300 CRE. This session will review security administration, the types of security available, as well as the nuts and bolts of setting up users and security permissions. The session will also cover best practices for anyone responsible for security administration. Learning Objectives/Description: Sage 300 Security Administration 2-10 Understanding the Sage Database Structure Who Should Attend: Anyone Learning Objectives/Description: In this session, you will learn the basic concepts of relational databases. We will show you how key fields link tables of data along with naming conventions, parent-child table relationships in your Sage 300 CRE database. We will also discuss the new Sage Replicator introduced in version 17.1 and how the SQL database can be used most effectively. If you write reports or extract data from Sage and struggle with knowing where to find the fields, this session is for you Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Solutions Who Should Attend: Anyone Learning Objectives/Description: This session is a continuation of the Session 2-8 discussion (Attending Session 2-8 is not required). We will explore the wide variety of solutions on the market today. We will evaluate the Pros and Cons of each type and how to apply them to your particular IT infrastructure. While many organizations have inhouse staff whose job it is to oversee that component of operations, it s also just as likely that managing the company s technology systems is just another hat worn by someone in the accounting department. This tool can be used with your current Crystal Reports to enhance their performance. This tool is a prerequisite for the Sage Mobile Intelligence Reporting and Dashboarding tool. During this session, the following questions will be answered: What is SQL Replicator? How do you configure it? How to use it with existing Crystal reports? What are your configuration options? Track 3: Industry & Management Issues Information Technology B 3-1 Cyber Security: Protecting Your Data from Server to End-Point (1 of 2) Who Should Attend: Anyone Learning Objectives/Description: In this 2-part session, our presenters will explore the topic of Cyber Security with a holistic approach. They will delve into all the vulnerable points of data access and how to mitigate the risk of data loss. From where the data is stored, along the path of access and transmission, to the point of creation and retrieval. Industry standards and best practices will be presented and discussed in an effort to help keep your data as safe as realistically possible. 3-2 Cyber Security: Protecting Your Data from Server to End-Point (2 of 2) See Personal Cyber Security: How Do I Protect Myself Online? Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in Personal Security 5

7 Learning Objectives/Description: Learn to protect yourself online and what to look for that could make you a victim. 3-6 Introducing SQL Server Management Studio Who Should Attend: Anyone who wants to know more about SQL Server. This is a beginner s class and great introduction to MS SQL. Prerequisites and/or Advance Preparation: Bring your "out-of-the-box" thinking cap and an open mind. Learning Objectives/Description: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is a robust tool created by Microsoft to manage and query data in a SQL database. In this course, we will discuss the basics of database management, break down the sections of the SSMS screen, see examples of how and why to use each section, along with tips and tricks to make it all easier. If you are interested in learning about SQL, whether you use Sage 100, 300, or estimating, this is a great introduction and first step. 3-7 Getting to Know SQL Lab (1 of 2) Who Should Attend: Attend this session if you would like to know more about Microsoft SQL Learning Objectives/Description: Microsoft SQL is a powerful computer language used for relational database management. In this two-part lab, we will perform activities that will show how using SQL we can query, insert, update and modify data. We will create views and stored procedures in our activities that can be used with other programs for reporting and spreadsheets that will allow you to see your data in ways you never thought possible. Examples will be in both Sage 100 and Sage 300 CRE 3-8 Getting to Know SQL Lab (1 of 2) See Diving into the Deep End of SQL Lab Knowledge Level: Advanced Who Should Attend: This course is designed for Business Analysts, Report Writers, or anyone tasked with database management who has some knowledge of SQL Prerequisites and/or Advance Preparation: Basic SQL Querying or some knowledge of Microsoft SQL Learning Objectives/Description: In this session, we will dive into the deep end of SQL with more advanced functions, subqueries, and data manipulation. You will learn how to create a new table, populate the table with data, then modify and delete records. Next, I'll throw you a life jacket when we discuss troubleshooting techniques and how to diagnose bottlenecks in performance. This session will be jammed packed with information. Attend this class to learn about them, as well as a "refresher" course on some of the basic system features and shortcuts. 4-2 Sage 100 Contractor Optimizing Accounts Payable to Advanced Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: A/P Personnel Prerequisites and/or Advance Preparation: Accounts Payable Learning Objectives/Description: We will discuss several different areas of Accounts Payable that will help maximize its efficiency. Some topics that will be discussed will range from Accounts Payable basics that often get overlooked along with some more advanced options. 4-3 Sage 100 Contractor A Day in the Life of the Accounting Department Daily, Weekly, Month-End Procedures Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: Accounting Learning Objectives/Description: Create an efficient routine for completing daily, weekly and month-end accounting procedures. We will go over the typical tasks that are completed in the accounting cycle and how to best use our SAGE tools to complete these tasks in an organized & timely manner. 4-4 Sage 100 Contractor Advancing Billing Part 1 Time & Materials Billing to Advanced Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: Accounting, Project Management Learning Objectives/Description: In this class we'll explore the Time & Materials module in Sage 100 Contractor. We'll go through the setup procedures involved, process the billings, and discuss unique billing situations. 4-5 Sage 100 Contractor Advancing Billing Part 2 Progress Billing to Advanced Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: Accounting, Project Management Learning Objectives/Description: In this class we'll explore the Progress Billing module in Sage 100 Contractor. We'll go through the setup procedures involved, process the billings, and discuss unique billing situations. 4-6 Sage 100 Contractor Way Beyond the Wizard Using Advanced Report Writer Tools Lecture to Advanced Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: Users wishing to design ADVANCED reports using the Sage 100 Contractor Report Writer. Prerequisites and/or Advance Preparation: Knowledge of Form Design and Report Writer Basics. 7

9 Learning Objectives/Description: Taking full advantage of the powerful tools available within the Sage 100 Contractor Report Writer means going beyond the basics and using formulas, including SELECT,IF()THEN()ELSE(), but going even further with "popups" for dates, numeric values, and strings. A wide range of Report Writer tools will be explored, including filtering "tricks" and other tips to give you the reports you didn't think you could get. 4-7 Sage 100 Contractor Way Beyond the Wizard using Advanced Report Writer Tools Lab to Advanced Version: 20.7 Who Should Attend: Users wishing to design ADVANCED reports using the Sage 100 Contractor Report Writer. Prerequisites and/or Advance Preparation: Knowledge of Form Design and Report Writer Basics; preferably lecture on Advanced Tools Learning Objectives/Description: Becoming a MASTER using the Sage 100 Contractor Report Writer means using formulas but going even further with so many other tips and tricks.
