33 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES 1. All classes are conducted in English. 2. Participants from foreign countries have to apply for a Professional Pass at the Pakistan High Commission in their respective countries for the five weeks of SAP ACADEMY Training. All administrative issues relating to the application of the Professional Pass are the sole responsibility of the participant and all costs will be borne by the participant. 3. Students are requested to be punctual. 4. Please adhere to the prerequisites stated for each of our tracks. 5. If a student cannot sit for his/her certification due to personal reasons or illness (these reasons must be documented, and mailed or faxed to the Academy coordinator), the student in question will sit for our next available certification class. This is subject to the acknowledgment of receipt by the Academy coordinator. Approval is subject to the sole discretion of the Academy coordinator. 6. Students will get online results immediately after the test, but final examination results will be communicated one month after the close of the Academy session by mail. 7. The SAP APPLICATION ACADEMY grading system is as follows: Pass 70% or better Failure 69.9% & below If a student fails, he/she is eligible for a maximum of two re-exams. Each re-exam fee is USD 700 per person. If a student fails after two re-exams, he/she must take the SAP APPLICATION course once again. A student is eligible to re-sit for the next Certification Exam three (3) months after the last examination. 8. Please ensure that you bring enough funds with you to cover all expenses and incidentals. 9. To facilitate students for practical after-lesson study time, the training center will be available for use on weekdays from 1700 to 2000 hours. 10. The Academy will accept substitution of one student for another without penalty for up to five (5) business days before the course commencement date. Cancellations must be made at least ten (10) working days prior to the course commencement date. If cancellation is received less than ten (10) working days before the course is due to start, 50% of the course fee will be charged. No refund will be made for cancellation made three (3) working days prior to course commencement or for 'no-show'. 12. Cancellations must always be made in writing by , mail, or fax to the SAP Academy. 13. If a student withdraws from the course at any time after the course commences, no refund will be made. 14. If, for organizational reasons, a particular course is cancelled, no claims for compensation will be accepted other than the refund of the course fee. 15. SAP Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or discounts to any participant without assigning any reason. 16 Candidates appearing only for certification must have attendance certificate of any Authorized Training Center of SAP or having at least 2 or more years of SAP hands on experience.
