4 DATA INTEGRATION According to IT professionals and managers, the number one challenge in healthcare is data integration. Healthcare is predominantly made up of systems with limited means of sharing data. The majority of healthcare providers use distinct HL7 connections with each vendor or partner to pass basic patient information between systems inside the hospital and to external partners. SSB Health also enables translation that can take an HL7 message from a publisher s feed and convert it from an HL7 format to a modern JSON or XML format. 5 DATA MANAGEMENT & SEGMENTATION The best business decisions are made when all of the data that defines the business, product, customer, guest or patient is consolidated, relevant, and available to be utilized in a timely manner. SSB Health offers a data management foundation service combined with its Master Data Management (MDM) as a comprehensive method of enabling an enterprise to provide a common point of reference, language, and architecture for all of its critical data. This service is comprised of three components: Cleaning, Matching, and Mastering. CLEANING applies standard comparison rules to assign the appropriate match ID. MATCHING determines the best record out of all matching records. MASTERING creates a record compiled from all matching records using the chosen record from the prioritizing process as the base and then supplementing data from the other matching records. SSB Health s segmentation tool allows for the merging and filtering of data to create a desired grouping or population of records across multiple data sets and data sources. There are limitless use cases in the healthcare industry, such as population health initiatives around disease prevention, life expectancy, promoting health, etc. Identifying at risk or high risk populations is essential to being able to direct attention or action to those patients who need it most, ensuring the appropriate response and the most efficient activity.

With the SSB Injectable Javascript Library (SIJL), components can be embedded into any HTML based site. Additionally, any preferred third party analytics tools can be used, such Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, and many more.
