CAD / PDM version-up in one side is transparent to other side, because exchanged format stay the same (ISO standard) 2. More components are reusable between different converters OEM 1 1 OEM 2 3. Renault, Nissan and Daimler decided to use STEP AP242-XML + JT XTBREP 9.5 (ISO) => Renault and Daimler are exchanging in STEP AP242+JT since 1 year 4. But Specific data mapping is still mandatory or each partnership (structure + metadata) 22

Now Renault is on the way to adapt all downstream applications to this new capability, keeping digital continuity.
