2 Anatomic 3D PUR Liner The new liner standard Many prosthesis wearers suffer from painful pressure sores. So when it comes to evaluating a prosthesis, force reduction and pressure relief plays a big role and for this reason Ottobock developed the perfect solution with the new Anatomic 3D PUR liner. It is based on the anatomy of the lower leg. Thanks to the new innovative ASG (Anatomic Specific Geometry) technology Ottobock is now offering a new generation of off the shelf Polyurethane (PUR) liners which will set new standards for performance. The polyurethane material distinguishes itself through excellent flow characteristics. This ensures optimal pressure distribution and material durability. The special non-stick treatment allows the liner to be donned easily and quickly. The liner is soft on the inside and yet provides excellent connection. A special structure distributes moisture during use so that it literally disappears into the liner. 3 Benefits at a Glance Anatomic Specific Geometry (ASG) The liner features different wall thicknesses. The material is thicker in sensitive areas to provide protection, and thinner in other areas to increase wearer comfort. 5 Fitting Recommendation Polyurethane (PUR) ensures even pressure distribution and a precise and comfortable fit. Optimum reduction of forces also makes the material suitable for sensitive, bony and / or scarred residual limbs. We recommend the 6Y512 Anatomic 3D PUR Liner for users with a low to very high mobility grade. Socket design: Used with a total surface weight bearing socket according to the Harmony principle (646T2=1.8). Full weight-bearing socket means that the load is distributed evenly across the entire residual limb. The socket shape is a copy of the residual limb, but reduced in volume by a certain percentage. Ideal for use with a one-way valve or with the Harmony Vacuum System and sealing sleeve. PUR PUR Convince yourself Two different designs In addition to the proven, uncovered version, the liner is also available with integrated fabric sheath. The overhang can be easily cut off or can be used to provide additional protection to the sleeve. Flow with function The liner is particularly soft, yet it provides excellent linkage. 6 Ordering Information To determine the correct Anatomic 3D PUR Liner size, two measurements are required: Take the length measurement from MPT to the distal end of the residual limb to determine the Residual Limb Length Range. Take the circumference measurement 40mm from the distal end of the residual limb to determine the Limb Circumference Range. Use the chart to find the Article Number of liner size that corresponds to the measurements. Please specify: uncovered (-) or integrated sheath (-F) without SKINGUARD (-) or with SKINGUARD (-G) The proximal circumference 100 mm above MPT may be taken to verify the fit of the selected liner size.
