2 Kontor Shelter - About Us Kontor oversees the design, manufacturer and arrange the installation of high quality specialised outdoor shade products. Our range includes architectural shade sails, tension membrane structures, umbrellas, shade canopy structures, clear and pvc mesh cafe blinds, folding arm awnings, zip-trak blinds and a wide range of awnings. All products are custom designed to meet your individual requirements. We use only the highest quality materials & components. Kontor offers a wide range of shade and waterproof structures, designed individually to suit any situation and budget. From a simple four sided shade sail made from shade cloth to a waterproof structure complete with stainless steel edge cables and galvanised or powder coated steelwork. Our company supplies year round, all-weather protection designed to suit the harsh weather conditions of Australia. All our products are manufactured at our Australian manufacturing factory.

3 Capabilities Statement Design With our affiliates many years of experience in the industry, our team can custom design a unique structure to suit your individual requirements. We provide 3D conceptual designs utilising state of the art software. We can also liaise directly with professionals such as architects, engineers and builders to provide the best solution for all. Engineering Our manufacturing team works with fully qualified engineers who specialise in this specific field of Tensile Structures. To successfully engineer tensile structures our engineers utilise Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Form Finding software. Project Management We can efficiently and effectively project manage all shade sail or tension membrane projects. We organise the planning and building permits, engineering drawings and certification, other trades (if required) a site inspection and a complete supply and installation of the finished product and site clean-up. Maintenance Kontor has a team that focuses primarily on the maintenance and upkeep of existing sails and structures. We work closely with schools, councils, commercial businesses and domestic customers to administer maintenance programs and repair, replace or remove any items due to normal wear and tear. Contract Manufacturing Our factory can accommodate next projects large and small. We provide fabric patterning, cutting and marking of panels on our plotter cutter, HF and wedge welding, sewing, laser cutting of corner clamping plates, steel work design and fabrication and installation

4 Tension Membrane Structures Waterproof shade structures or tensile membranes are used for all types of applications, due to the versatility of the fabrics. Kontor can creatively design and engineer a structure to suit the requirements of any project. Kontor and its associates are at the leading edge of design, fabrication and installation of tension membrane structures worldwide. State of the art fabrics are transformed by Kontor into innovative and practical solutions for our Australian and International customers. These fabrics include PVC, PVDF coated PVC, Teflon coated PVC, perforated PVC and HDPE knitted shade cloth. Kontor can provide complete design and construction services including 3D rendered conceptual designs of your project so you and your client can see exactly what they will be receiving. From the drawings we then extrapolate steelwork shop drawings and fabric cutting patterns. All steelwork is hot dip galvanised with the option of powder coating, with a large range of colours to choose from. Stainless steel or galvanised fittings are used to complement each structure. Our affiliates are capable of designing, creating and installing your solution whether it be protection from sun, rain, hail or wind.

5 Shade Sails Kontor manufactures all of our shade sails products in our Australian manufacturing facility, thus ensuring they are of the highest quality and all of our sails are custom made to suit your requirements. Our sails are sewn using only high quality UV stabilised thread. The fabric seams (where required), are interlocked and double stitched for maximum strength. Seat belt webbing is sewn around the edge of the sails to assist in keeping the sail under tension. In each corner a stainless steel ring is sewn ready for connection with stainless steel fittings. The sails are fixed to anchoring points, whether these be brackets placed on existing buildings, or steel posts embedded in concrete footings. The posts and/or brackets can be left galvanised or powder coated with a large colour range to choose from. The sails are tensioned up tight to provide greater resistance to wear and tear of the fabric, All fabrics offer up to 96% UV protection, comes in a variety of colours and also carries a ten year manufacturer s warranty against UV degradation. Our shade sail services are flexible to suit our client s needs. We can manufacture and install the sail including the steelwork, or simply supply to site

7 Pacchetto - Belt driven pleated patio system The Pacchetto awning system was developed in Europe specifically to meet the growing demand for alfresco living. With greater demands being placed on our out-door life-style, the Pacchetto belt driven Patio Awning system lends itself to the further enjoyment of our leisure-time. The Pacchetto awning is one of design excellence, incorporating many practical features like the water drainage system, which can deposit the water either over the front of the awning, or to the left side, or to the right side, as the requirement dictates. The Pacchetto awning system, utilises a number of fold away pleats, so the winter sun, or summer sun, can be enjoyed simply by retracting the canopy. The pleats are variable in size, and as they are individual pieces of fabric, any damage caused to one panel simply means that panel, and that panel only, is replaced. With a variety of fabrics available for the Pacchetto, the awning can be made fully water-proof, or can become a retractable sun-shade, as desired - simply by the choice of fabrics. Size is NOT a problem for the Pacchetto. Ranging from a small 3 metre wide Pacchetto with an off the wall Projection of 3 metres, this is the baby size for this awning. The available published material states sizes up to 18 metres Wide, with a Projection of some 6 metres, all supported by wall fixing on the one end, and front posts on the other. Pacchettos which are Wider, and with greater Projections than these dimensions are not only possible, but because of the modular nature of Pacchetto, are definitely feasible.
