6 Ultra Thin HDF Thin MDF/HDF is used for production of furniture, construction materials (doors, sidings, etc.), looring, packing and much more. With the Calender Press you are able to produce boards which are 0.5 to 8 mm thin. The gross density of the boards can vary between 400 to 1,200 kg/m 3. 10 Cement Fibre The Particle Board for Eternity BINOS makes use of the advantages of two building materials: wood and cement. BINOS supplies complete cement board plants, components and conversions for cement board productions. They are formed into boards for wall elements, or shingles for roofs that are resistant to damp, fungal attack and pests. They offer a high degree of protection agains ire, but at the same time they are relatively light and can be processed like particleboards. The BINOS cement board plant allows the production of several board sizes and faces. It is an economic and strong construction material for residential housing and is used for the eficient erection of huge buildings all over the world. Nine out of ten of the wood-cement boards produced all over the world are manufactured on special plants from the BINOS/BISON-system. With high density, ine surface and closed edges, the board is easily suface-treated and has excellent physical properties. BINOS is offering the cement board plants in a range of standard 10

12 BINOS Scalper The BINOS Scalper has a positive impact on the area weight distribution of the spread particle or ibre mat. 14 Ultra Former The Ultra Former was developed especially for ibre board production. It allows an excellent density distribution and optimised surface smoothness of boards, exceeding the results of other systems. 15 Fibre Turbine The Fibre Turbine is dissolving agglomerated ibres to a homogenised low of single ibres. This machine is able to mix ibres with any different kind of ibres, powder or granulate. Homogeneous mixtures of these materials are the basis for the most modern composite materials of organic and anorganic ibres. Fibre products can be recycled into single ibres to reinforce fresh products. The design and layout of the machine generates minimum increase of ines and is wear protected for low maintenance operation. Fibre Turbines are available from 0.5 tons per hour to 60 tons per hour. 15

16 Wind Forming with Patented Roller Bed BINOS Wind Forming is used in particleboard plants to optimise the geometry of the core layer of the boards. accuracy BINOS is implementing spreading rolls underneath the wind forming chambers in the area of the air registers - and this also as an upgrade to your existing plant. A ventilator regulates the air so exactly that the chips are separated by sizes automatically. The oversized chips are spread mainly in the core layer. A smooth mat is the result. This spreading accuracy leads to a higher panel quality; especially with respect to the transverse tensile strength. The spreading rolls transport the oversized chips to the lying chip collectors and thereby a homogeneous transition between the middle and the top layer is created. It turns out that oversized chips are coated with less amount of glue as they have a less speciic surface as ine chips. The plant is designed with an automatic gravimetric preparation, the gravimetric system with electronic control for the glue mixes preparation.
