Our forte is the custom sized large trapdoors which is a currently an unorganised segment catered by the local carpenters.

5 1THE 2MM CHALLENGE Any size, any type, any configuration there is only one thing common among all our trapdoors and that is the 2mm GAP between the Door and Ceiling, this is the key ingredient to camouflage the door with the ceiling around it. Our research shows a minimum of 2mm groove is required to ensure the door doesn t interfere with the frame around it. UNIFORM 2MM GAP

6 2 TECHNOLOGY PATENTED Having spent a significant amount of time in perfecting the design puts us in a very comfortable position where we have applied for the following two patents. 1) The hinge design for trapdoors of sizes ranging from 600 x ) The locating arrangement which ensures the door closes in the right position with a click sound. 7 3 LEAK WATER RETAILING CAPACITY Considering the application; these trapdoors are used to access the services above, which are very prone to leakage either due to failure or condensation. Brillmax has designed them with an intention to retain atleast 1 litre of water per sqft of the door area.

8 4 USED FOR WALLS AND CEILINGS It is a common misconception that trap doors are used only for ceilings. Brillmax has specially designed trapdoors that can be used for vertical applications also. The versatile design allows the door to be anchored onto a block wall, rcc wall or a drywall,

9 5 CLICK FIT DESIGN Special locating arrangements have been made to ensure the Door sits exactly in position. The locators comprise of 2 parts one of which acts as a seat and is screw fixed onto the door and the stud sits on the frame of the access panel. This also adds onto the accuracy and helps maintain the 2mm gap. 6 RANGE FROM 1SQFT TO 20 SQFT We manufacture trap doors of size 1sqft to 20sqft and everything in between. Our standard sizes are: 300 x x x x x x x x 1200 The maximum size manufactured and shipped by brillmax till date is 4ft x 5ft size i.e. 20 sqft this was supplied to the Pallazzo Project by Hindva Group (Surat)

10 6 inclusive of all accessories We include the following accessories along with each and every access panel. 1) Threaded Rods (if size is above 600 x 600) 2) 2 Nuts and 2 Washers along with each threaded rod 3) 1 Drop in anchor along with each threaded rod 4) 1 allen key for every 10 access panels 5) 1 setting tool per each PO

11 7 FIRE AND SOUND RATED With a commitment to cater to all the client requirements brillmax is in the process of manufacturing Fire Rated and Sound Rated access Panels. Fire rating of 30 minutes to 120 minutes Sound insulation of up to 30dB.

12 8 FLUSHED AND FLANGED TYPE Apart from the variety in performance and sizes brillmax also manufactures the edges in 2 variants as mentioned below 1) Flushed: Most widely used this ensures the level of ceiling is flushed with that of the trap door. After finishing the set bead is covered in the jointing compound and the paint. 2) Flanged: This type is used where the visibility of a feathered edge is not a concern. They are mostly available in while colour and can be plastic moulded or metallic and power coated depending on the volumes.
