4 i.box overview and layout examples A 360 panoramic transparent structure enhancing openness and light. Subtle design makes it suitable for any area as a demountable, temporary or permanent structure. With a choice of either free-standing 2400 or full height design i.box is versatile and unobtrusive to surrounding services. Illustrated are examples showing the modularity of the i.box system and how modules configure to create stand-alone demountable structures. Also shown are examples of modules being combined and configured with existing solid surfaced walls. By combining the standard module sizes, and the range of complimenting accessories, the flexibility of the i.box system makes practically any requirement possible. 6 i.box junctions I connections i.box is a contemporary, frameless structure designed to optimise functionality via a host of inter possibilities that include 3-way, 4-way and adjoining permanent walls. It is ideal as a meeting room or an office. Freestanding and configurable to client needs. Interchangeable panels make i.box quick to assemble and easy to relocate, meeting the ever changing needs of dynamic workspaces. Unique design detail and application. 11 product specifications construction I finishes I accessories I cable reticulation I warranty I sustainability Modularity i.box is a fully refined office partition system manufactured in Australia by Schiavello. It is a fully modular glass and aluminium based free standing structure, connected via ultra slim aluminium joiners. i.box design, engineering and material selection is based on Schiavello s environmental design principles to reduce environmental impact. Assembly Head s are produced to a maximum length of 4.5 metres, before a steel joining spline is necessary. Standards 12 toughened s and doors tested to Australian standards AS1288, glass in buildings. i.box sliding door is co-compliant with Australian Standards (physical disability A.S , 13.5 door controls ). Finishes Aluminium components: powder coated in a range of exc:lusive and non-exclusive finishes. Glass modules: 12 toughened safety glass. Sound absorbing panels: available in a range of colours and fabric types. Whiteboards: available in both acrylic and vitreous enamel finishes. Powder coating: conforms to Australian Standards: Metal AS Aluminium AS Door hardware: incorporates heavy duty lock and stainless steel handles. Rubber door jam buffer for soft closing doors. Dimensions Size: 2400 H x 500 W modules Size: 2400 H x 1000 W modules Floor Allowance Recoended variation in floor level to be within 10, however, accompanied with laser line measurements, greater variations of up to 45 may be accoodated, dependent on circumstances. For completely enclosed walls, i-box installations will be required to comply with building codes in regard to services such as ventilation, smoke alarms and fire sprinklers. Accessories A PVC guide is inserted into the i.box to facilitate the operation of wheeled accessories, including whiteboards and sound absorbing panels. The and trolley system can be used in both inside and outside channels of the i.box head. Up to 50kg of load per trolley is recoended. High load rollers are supplied with all sliding components and accessories; - Clip in aluminium extrusions for covering the channels are optional extra for locations where it is visible from higher s. (note: sliding apparatus would be limited in use to either internal or external uses); - Power duct for cable reticulation; - Plasma mounts for mounting plasma or LCD screens; - Custom shelving (Shelf braces satisfactory for 33kg point loads); - Sound absorbing panels, available in a range of colours and fabric types and mounting to the i.box head; - Whiteboards - standard size from 2385 X 900 X 12, mounting into the head channel. The whiteboards are sourced and manufactured in Australia by Schiavello and utilize E-Zero MDF; - Custom window furnishings - string or fabric curtains; - Custom raised flooring finished in a range of fabric tiles. Cable Reticulation The system that can be hard or soft wired includes integrated components that provide efficient means of routing services cabling from the ceiling, walls or floor. ie: Powerduct allowing user convenient location of outlets. The softwiring electrical system is Schiavello Lettric certified to AS/NZS 3131 and AS/NZS Warranty The manufacturer warrants the system for a period of not less than 5 years against faulty materials and workmanship and guarantees the supply of parts and service of all standard components for a period of not less than 10 years from date of installation. Sustainable The i.box Glass Module partitioning system is manufactured in our ISO AS/NZS externally accredited production facility. The system has a durability life span of >1Oyrs is entirely demountable, modular and designed for complete disassembly. The system can then be re-erected utilising 100% of all component parts. When evaluating the system for its Green Star (MAT-3 Walls and Partition) performance the Schiavello EMS includes all of the items set out under the Green Star EMS criteria including product stewardship.
