Vapor Retarder Barrier (VR) International Building Code IBC Section Class I or II vapor retarders shall be provided on the interior side of framed walls in Climate Zones 5 8 and Marine 4 Material Vapor Retarder Classes Class I very low perm / > 0.1 ex. = Sheet polyethylene Class II low perm / ex. = Kraft-faced fiberglass batts Class III medium perm / Ex. = Latex or enamel paint 2.
