3 COURSE DESCRIPTION The presentation gives and overview of several aspects of electrical commissioning. We will review the tasks that are important in electrical systems commissioning along with the procedures. We will explain why electrical systems should not be ignored in the commissioning process. We will emphasize the importance of safety when observing the electrical systems and go some of the real world issues that come up on projects..

Review of a few test procedures to commissioning electrical power systems 3. Determine when thermography is useful or required in commissioning electrical systems 4. The importance of other tasks in the commissioning process for electrical systems before functional testing

22 Functional Test Procedures Setting up a Functional Test Procedure Pretest procedure to be observed by commissioning authority prior to the start of any functional testing. Bypass test procedure to be performed by UPS technician and electrical contractor observed by the commissioning authority Fault test procedure to be performed by UPS technician observed by the commissioning authority.
