1 pro-skirting PAR-KER Metal floor skirting. Decorative use. Metal skirting which combines exceptional mechanical strength with functional, modern design. Especially recommended for offices and raised floors. Recommended applications - Metal floor skirting. - Residential and public use. - Permanently damp areas or areas in direct contact with water. - Not suitable for swimming pools Materials - Profile: Lacquered aluminium - Design: Printed vinyl. Profile specification - Alloy: Profile section: 60 x 12 mm / 100 x 12 mm - Profile thickness: 1.6 mm - Profile length: 1800 mm Design specification - Design: Depending on model, inspired by several PORCELANOSA PAR-KER collections. - Tone: Matt. Substrates: - All substrates suitable for installing ceramic tiles. - Level surfaces suitable for installing ceramics on a thin layer: clean, dry, compact but flat surface (the curvature of the substrate should not exceed 3mm over 2m). - It is essential that walls are flat and well levelled.

2 Instructions for use - Choose the profile depending on its intended use and the type of ceramic tile. - Clean the joint between the floor tiles and wall, and seal with elastic mastic. - Check the walls are flat and well levelled. Correct any curvature in the substrate. - Clean the substrate of anything which may difficult the profile from bonding. - Apply polyurethane mastic type p-404 and install the profile. - Grout the upper part of the profile and paint. - Before sealing the floor joints, ensure that the sealing material will not scratch or chemically alter the surface of the profile. If so, cover the profile with protective tape. The use of metal tools or abrasives is not recommended as they may scratch the profile surface. Cut the profile with a hacksaw or electric radial cutter at low speed fitted with a multi-use disc. We recommend taking the utmost care when cutting and always make the cut in line with the profile design. For joints on internal and external corners, mitre the profiles at an angle of 45º and adjust. Instructions for use as an access skirting - Choose the profile depending on its intended use and the type of ceramic tile. - Clean the joint between the floor tiles and wall, and seal with elastic mastic. - Check the walls are flat and well levelled. Correct any curvature in the substrate. - Clean the substrate of anything which may prevent the profile from bonding. - Choose screws and wall plugs depending on the type of wall. The fixing hole diameter is 5mm. - Mark the position of the fixing on the wall so it fits into the rear flange on the pro-skirting profile. Maximum spacing between fixings should not exceed 60cm. - Screw the fixing to the substrate and install the pro-skirting profile. - Adjust and level the skirting, leaving the joint between pieces as small as possible. We do not recommended sealing the joints between profiles or between profiles and the wall or floor. - Before sealing the floor joints, ensure that the sealing material will not scratch or chemically alter the surface of the profile. Cleaning and maintenance - This type of profile does not require cleaning or maintenance other than same as for ceramic tiles.

3 - Use neutral cleaning products. Do not use products which contain hydrochloric acid or hydrofluoric acid. We recommend testing prior to use. - Do not use abrasives or metals which may scratch the profile surface.
