Each cabin is fully fitted with an HDG or SHT biomass boiler, accumulator, energy storage and all associated electrical and hydraulic connections. They are also available in a variety of finishes to suit most site requirements, from standard pre-insulated panels, to natural wood cladding and even green living-walls. The range covers every application, from 10 kw domestic cabins suitable for placing in your garden, to 995 kw solutions suitable for schools, hotels, warehouses and other large scale applications. Whatever the cabin they all share one common feature - they are market leading in their design, function and operation, providing heating and hot water on demand. These quality built, insulated and virtually silent Energy Cabins have been designed to last at least the life expectancy of the boiler; 20 years or more. The Euroheat Energy Cabin offers easy installation, site the cabin and connect to the heating system, mains water and electricity. Depending on the size required, the Euroheat Energy Cabins can take up less space than a garden shed for domestic applications, and little more than a couple of car parking spaces for even our largest cabin solutions. Each cabin has been meticulously designed from the outset - taking into account important considerations such as service space, insulation, fuel storage, flue access, and even security to provide a fully integrated solution. Euroheat Energy Cabins offer a complete and cost effective biomass boiler house ready to plug in and go. The Euroheat Energy Cabin can be delivered to site via a HIAB lorry for smaller versions, or a low loader, with a crane on site for the larger cabins. As well as being quick to install, Euroheat Energy Cabins remove the need for costly and permanent building alterations and the previous heating boiler can be left in place as a back up if required. 9 But exactly what can they heat? Euroheat Energy Cabins can heat anything from small two bed homes right through to industrial buildings, even shopping centres. They come in five cabin sizes. Energy Cabin size zero to Energy Cabin size four. There are also variants in these sizes. Each Energy Cabin fits into a general category. The category can be further augmented by the type of boiler installed into the Energy Cabin. The smallest, Energy Cabin Zero, will easily heat a domestic home. The largest, a size four Energy Cabin will heat a large commercial building. If cascaded, they will heat much more. The Euroheat Biomass Energy Cabin can burn either wood chip, shavings, pellet or split log. (The unique TDA Thermodual can burn both wood and pellet). This means they are not only built to the highest standards, but also encompass everything you could possibly require in a perfect biomass plant room Steel frame designed to support the fully laden weight of the Energy Cabin, including boiler, accumulator, fuel and water. Adjustable feet to allow siting on sloping surfaces. (except cabins Zero 1 & 2) Pre insulated walls and roof panels ensure superior performance, significantly reduced heat losses and not only weather proofing but also additional strength and are virtually maintenance free. Exterior finish is extremely strong and vandal resistant,they offer a clean, contemporary appearance that can be wrapped or clad. High security, double lockable, steel doors allow easy access and light penetration. Additional doors can also be mounted on the opposite side. (Cabins 3 and 4 only) Optional pitch roof on Energy Cabin size 2. The floor is painted, with a non slip paint as well as floor access to incoming heating mains and services. 13 Automatic weighing and fuel ordering In today s busy world, time is precious. With all of the automated benefits of the Euroheat Energy Cabin, accurate fuel monitoring is a must for many. However, developing a fuel gauge for a store that contains fuels such as wood pellet, has been a challenge. Even when looking inside periodically, the way a fuel store is built it is hard to judge exactly how much fuel is left, the only accurate and reliable way of knowing how much material is inside is by weighing it. The Euroheat load cell takes away the guess work. It provides constant and precise fuel management, to an accuracy of approximately 10 kg. Combined with our remote monitoring package, this will provide automatic at both low fuel level, and a critical fuel level. This important information can be sent if required directly to your chosen fuel supplier, maintaining an uninterrupted fuel delivery to your boiler. The remote monitoring also allows the fuel supply company or user to log in to view current feed quantities. Reduced flue heights Through the use of either our cyclone extraction system or flue draught fans, our energy cabins can be installed with reduced flue heights, making them aesthetically pleasing in any application or setting. With our HDG Compact range, this even includes the option of variable speed of the fan to ensure the perfect flue conditions in the combustion chamber at anytime. The very clean operation of our boilers reduces the particulate matter to a very low level. Size Zero. Our smallest cabin for those who have little space The Energy Cabin Zero measures just 1.8 metres wide and is design to fit against a property, garage or outbuilding. The unique lid not only seals the cabin but also shields you from weather as well as allowing ample room to work on the boiler. 14 tonne pellet storage The Energy Cabin size 3 and 4 can hold 14 tonnes of pellet in their integral store. Ideal for bulk purchasing and storage. The Energy Cabin has been designed to store the fuel at its optimum and allow for easy access, delivery and cleaning. 35 Energy Cabin Size 3A HDG Compact Requires an external fuel store Wood chip is the least expensive of all the wood biomass fuels. This is why it is popular for larger installations as it offers greater savings. It however requires larger storage facilities than pellet. Notoriously, chip is also difficult to move to point of burning, but HDG have overcome these problems with a range of delivery mechanisms which offer reliable delivery that also fits neatly in to an Energy Cabin. The Energy Cabin size 3 holds an HDG Compact 100/115/150/199 kw wood chip boiler which is connected to an external fuel store. In this application the Compact boilers are fitted with an FRA or combination of TFQ and FRA to bring wood chip to the boiler from a remote wood chip store or a TBZ vacuum system for pellet transfer. 40 Wood chip external fuel storage Essential information on external fuel storage for wood chip 40 Euroheat Energy Cabin Heating with wood chips is good for the environment and helps you reliably plan your future energy costs. It is one of the most economic fuels for providing heat, being particularly suitable in applications where there is a sustainable supply of wood locally to the installation. The advantage of using chip as a source of energy are numerous, but it requires careful consideration in terms of loading, handling and storage. Wood chip requires large, dry, well ventilated areas in which to store before being able to load to the feed delivery system. Our design team at Euroheat have many years experience in this field and can offer practical advice and a portfolio of equipment to ensure the suitable solution for every need.

41 The first example is the most common with wood storage and fuel delivery being in one purpose built silo. It is also possible to utilize an existing building. Chip is simply poured into the opening which could be a sliding roof or a hatch. The second scenario makes use of the Euroheat chip shifter. The chip is poured into the hopper and an auger transfers the chip into the silo. Larger installations can make use of very large chip storage before transferring to the fuel delivery silo. Barns are ideal as long as they are dry and well ventilated. Important considerations for a chip store Wood chip is bulky and requires large storage area By its nature wood chip is damp.
