1 Introduction We are pleased to introduce a new and unique technology within the field of surface disinfection: A powerful and efficient surface disinfectant in user-friendly effervescent tablet form. This novel tablet technology presents numerous advantages compared to the "traditional" liquid products. The most obvious advantages are: Substantial savings in transport costs Substantially less requirements of storage facilities Easy and accurate dosing of the disinfectant. Composition O 2 Tabs consists of following components : Potassium Monopersulfate, Maleic Acid, Sulfamic Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Detergent, Stabilizer and Sodium Benzoate. Activity O 2 Tabs is a broad spectrum multi-component disinfectant which, when dissolved in tepid water, develops active oxygen. The formulation of O 2 Tabs is perfectly matched to assure that the ready-for-use solution inactivates efficiently a broad-spectrum of pathogenic organisms including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc. Potassium Monopersulfate, the oxidising agent, works best at low ph (i.e. under acid rather than alkaline conditions), which is produced by the two organic acids, Maleic Acid and Sulfamic Acid. A suitable stabilizer maintains this acid conditions. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of the Sodium Benzoate complement this oxidising system. Sodium Bicarbonate assures a dissolution of O 2 Tabs in tepid water within about 2-3 minutes. The contact time should be not less than 5 minutes.

2 Application / areas of use O 2 Tabs combines a high level of safety and a broad spectrum of activity. It can be used as a general surface disinfectant, e.g. within: Hospitals, laboratories and clinics The problem of hospital infection is complicated by the fact at hat in a relatively closed environment pathogenic organisms are more heavily concentrated than in the community at large. Individuals with increased sensitivity are kept in this overburdened environment. O 2 Tabs is an economical as well as safe and efficient disinfectant in this environment for surfaces in hospitals like floors, walls, operating tables, etc. Furthermore in laboratories, clinics, and ambulances. Agriculture and horticulture O 2 Tabs can be applied to provide terminal disinfection of all surfaces in farms and hatcheries even in the presence of animals. It can be used to disinfect milking equipment, milking stalls, holding pens, breeding pens, stables, farm equipment and tools, processing houses, store rooms, feed bins, lorries, horse floats, trailers, tractors livestock houses, catteries, kennels, cages, greenhouses, furfarms and storage rooms for vegetables and eggs. Being odourless it can be applied without subsequent ventilation. Food industry O 2 Tabs can be used on all food preparation surfaces and equipment in restaurants, bakeries, slaughter houses, catering facilities and fresh produce packaging factories. The food industries handle a wide range of products and employ a wide variety of processes and equipment. Therefore,, each machine requires separate determination to achieve the optimal results of cleaning and disinfection. Surfaces, which after disinfection will be in contact with food, should always be rinsed with water. and within many other sectors/industries, like e.g. transportation sector (airplanes), industrial cleaning industry, private homes etc. Handling Observe good industrial hygiene practises when handling the tablet and avoid direct contact with tablet itself with moist hands. Wear protective gloves, dust-mask and goggles when preparing the solution, as inhalation of dust from the tablet irritate nose, throat, skin or eyes. Close the package tightly after use to avoid exposure to humidity.

3 Preparation of ready-for-use solution and recommended dosage Dissolve tablets in tepid water. dissolve within few minutes. Allow solution to stand for further 5-1 minutes. The ready-for-use solution is applicable on the dry and pre-cleaned surfaces by spraying equipment or manually and remains active for about 2 weeks. Recommended dosage: 1 tablet per 1 litre of tepid water for disinfection of surfaces in hospitals, laboratories, clinics or ambulances resp. 1 tablet per 2 ½ litres for disinfection of surfaces in agricultural- / horticultural sector and food industry. Stability Stability of O 2 Tabs The shelf life of undissolved O 2 Tabs is infinite, when stored as recommended. Stability of ready-for-use solution Following stability test has been carried out: The stability of the product, when dissolved, is measured for active oxygen (AO) expressed in percent for a period of 14 days. Each measurement is taken in accordance with the following time intervals: 1 st day, 2 nd day, 3 rd day, 4th day, 11 th day, 12 th day, 13 th day and 14 th day. 1 tablet of 6 g is dissolved in 1, 2, 3 and 4 litres of water respectively: 1 Active Oxygen (AO) in percent of nominal content Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 11 Day 12 Day 13 Day 14 1 tab/ltr (yield nominal content of 3.36 % AO) 1 tab./3 ltr yield nominal content of 1.12 % AO) Time (days) 1 tab./2 ltr (yield nominal content of 1.68 % AO) 1 tab./4 ltr (yield nominal content of.84 % AO)

4 The test shows, that 1 tablet dissolved in 1 litre of water is stable during a period of > 14 days and 1 tablet dissolved in 4 litres of water is stable during a period of 11 days: Solubility The time of solubility for the tablet in water is dependent on the temperature of the water. The measurements below show that this time will be much shorter at higher temperatures. In water of 1 C the tablet of 6 g will be dissolved within 8 minutes, whereas the tablet will be dissolved in 2 minutes in water of 5 C. It is therefore recommended to dissolve the tablet in tepid water of about 3 C. Minutes Temperature in C Surface tension The surface tension is determined in dyn/cm at ratio of quantity of O 2 Tabs per 1 litre of water. The below table shows that the surface tension of the solution is reduced from 7 dyn/cm (water without O 2 Tabs) to 11 dyn/cm at ratio of.4 tablet per 1 litre (= 1 tablet per 2 ½ litres) and to 6 dyn/cm at ratio of 1 tablet per 1 litre. dyn/cm Quantity of tablet per 1 litre of water

Aluminium O 2 Tabs attacks aluminium with a loss of Al of.13 % per hour in constant contact with a solution which is 5 times as concentrated (i.e. 1 tablet per 2 ml) as recommended for the health sector. Stainless steel It is proven that O 2 Tabs does not attack stainless steel in constant contact with the solution.

6 Plastic and rubber It is proven that O 2 Tabs does not attack plastic or rubber in constant contact with the solution. Safety See attached Safety Data Sheet - Annex C. Efficacy The tablet is a broad spectrum disinfectant belonging to the group of oxidising disinfectants. The disinfectant has been tested against a range of micro-organisms, which occur inter alia in hospitals, clinics, agriculture, horticulture, food industry, private homes etc. Summary of anti-microbial, virucidal and fungicidal studies see Annex A Toxicology The Institute for Food and Toxicology has made an evaluation of O 2 Tabs in respect to the toxicological effect of the product. On basis of this evaluation, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has approved O 2 Tabs for usage as disinfectant for apparatus and equipment in dairies and milk livestock, for wiping of udders, in meat product companies and in all retail business, provided that the directions for use are adhered to. Alternative sizes / packaging: Upon customer's request O 2 Tabs could be produced in sizes of 2 to 48 g per each tablet. Upon customer's request O 2 Tabs could be supplied in blister strips.
