7 ALLEGHENY COUNTY COLLIER TOWNSHIP S.R. 3117, SECTION A01 DORRINGTON ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ENCLOSURE A WETLAND DELINEATION REPORT The investigation of jurisdictional wetland habitats was conducted through the use of existing information and field investigations. The existing information utilized for this investigation included: United States Geological Survey (USGS), 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle of Pittsburgh West, PA; United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Wetlands Inventory (NWI), 7.5 minute quadrangle of Pittsburgh West, PA; and Natural Resource Conservation Service/Soil Conservation Service (NRCS/SCS), Allegheny County Soil Survey mapping and the Hydric Soils Allegheny County, Pennsylvania List. Field investigations within the project area were conducted on January 27, 2006 in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual (Technical Report Y-87-1); Pennsylvania Code Title 25, Chapter 105 Regulations; Section 404 of the Federal Clean Water Act; and the Wetland Resources Handbook, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Publication No As a result of the investigations, no palustrine wetlands were identified within the project area. Two riverine wetlands, Robinson Run and an unnamed tributary to Robinson Run, were identified within the project area and are further discussed in Enclosures C and D of this permit application. A Modified Routine On-Site Wetland Determination Method Data Form, representative of the undeveloped portions of the site along with site photographs are attached to this enclosure. Also attached to this enclosure are project figures including, Figure 1 (Project Location), Figure 2 (Plan View), Figure 3 (Project Area Soils), and Figure 4 (NWI Wetlands). A-1
