MANAGING THE CYCLE OF POTENTIALLY INFECTIOUS MEDICAL WASTE AND ADOPTING STERILIZATION IN HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT with NEWSTER10

Our Company Newster Srl, certified by UNI EN ISO , was created in It projects, produces and sells patented technologically evolved and eco-compatible systems for the sterilization and disinfection of sanitary healthcare waste. Newster s.r.l boasts a specialized structure in the design, production and development of its own products and collaborates with international and university organizations in the field of sanitary waste and humanitarian emergencies. The whole is completed by distributors technicians who follow-up to service and after sales assistance, operating in different area, in Italy and abroad

Our products and services Newster equipment includes three lines of hospital-grade products and involve various field, such as: Sterilization of potentially infectious healthcare waste Treatment and disinfection of potentially infectious sewage water Air depuration treatment

Medical Waste Medical waste can be defined as waste generated as a result of diagnosis, treatment and immunization of human. They are made by: Municipal solid waste 15% or less Infectious waste Hazardous waste Low level radioactive waste With efficient waste segregation and classification system the amount might be reduced to 3-5%.

Classification of Potentially Infectious Healthcare Waste Infectious waste is generally defined as waste that is capable of producing infectious disease. Other terms used include biohazardous waste, biomedical waste, or red bag waste. All waste produced in medical research, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and care is classified by the European Waste Catalogue (CER) under code no and related sub codes. Infectious waste must be treated and decontaminated before landfilling.
