9 Nexus Intervention Areas NMC has proposed the following Nexus intervention areas: Analysis and recommendations for innovative solid waste management Facilitation of contacts with German investors in the area of innovative solid waste management Participation in the Interdepartmental Task Force in the framework of the Smart Cities Program. Study feasible options for the rejuvenation of the Nag River and surrounding areas. Cooperation with the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) for the introduction of innovative engineering technologies e.g. for solid waste management such as MYT (Maximum Yield Technology) and others. Optimization of water and waste water management considering high water leakages. The project links its activities using Nexus as a tool to reach the SDGs with specific focus on the goal Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
