5 For a real sense of comfort... Pure water is always soft. The water that comes out of the faucet, you will want soft also for cleaning, bathing, and heating. That hardness and impurities can be reduced with the water softeners and filters of Softena. Consider coffee with soft water. Softened water gives a fuller and stronger coffee flavor. If you wash clothes with hard water, they will feel rough and harsh to the skin. Therefore washing machines have a separate compartment for fabric softener. The hardness of the water is not the only problem. All fresh water on earth comes from rain and rain water is basically pure, but during its journey on the surface and in the underground there are plenty of impurities. 8 POE sediment filter Water should not contain sediments Suspended solids, sand particles and rust in your water are some of the main causes of damage to home appliances. A filter, placed on the incoming main pipe, is an efficient way to address this problem. Our Softena SOF-POE-1 and SOF-POE-2 backwashable sediment filters get that job efficiently and reliably. Our Softena sediment filters: Extend the life of household appliances. Do not require any maintenance. The most common impurities in well water is water hardness but also organic matter can affect the quality of the water. The Softena Multimix uses a revolutionary multipurpose filter media that effectively and efficiently treats 5 common problems found in municipal and well water supplies. 22 ABOUT US Erie manufacturing company was founded on January 9th, 1943 when Henry Alfrey purchased the machinery and assets of a small manufacturing company at 200 East Erie Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). Although the first products were emergency oxygen systems for military aircraft, Erie soon became a pioneer and innovator in devices to control flows, for application in oxygen, HVAC and water treatment systems.
