4 Table 1 Datasets include environmental health information Data set Source Time Period Data Size Census (zipcode US Census 1990, 2000, 307 level) Bureau and 2010 million (20GB) Weather NOAA (monitor level [n=5000, hourly) million (42 GB) Air pollution EPA million (monitor (300 GB) level [n=5000 hourly and daily) Key Information Demographics and socioeconomic status Daily temperature, dew point, sea level pressure, visibility, and wind speed Daily ambient pollution concentrations for criteria pollutants (e.g., PM10, PM2.5, O3, NO2, CO) for available counties throughout h US. PM mass concentration data are available as 24 hour integrated samples, usually daily, but sometimes on a 1 in 3 or 1 in 6 day sampling schedule.

23 Concluding remarks Data on health, environmental stressors are available but are collected for different purposes The linkage of these large and heterogeneous sources and the development of statistical methods has allowed us to address several important t questions However, moving forward, we will need support from both the university and government agencies that will allow us to specifically maintain these data centers
24 Computers p don t need to look out the window. The don t need to be close to their colleagues. They need to be close to each other, which is what we re doing with this computing space James Cuff, Director of Research Computing at Harvard and Chief Technology Architect
