Contents Who is AMP? Who is AMP? How we operate AMP is a specialist aggregator of distributed heat, power and renewable fuels. Our mission is to help UK businesses unlock the potential of decentralised, low carbon energy. How can we help organisations? Biomass Steam and Power Energy Centre Biomass Process Steam and Heat Energy Centre Waste Heat Recovery Energy Centre Technical excellence How does AMP fund its Energy Centres? How we work with customers Get in touch AMP operates through three business divisions: Wood Fuels, Project Development and Investments. We have a range of companies and projects within our portfolio and almost 4,000 customers across the UK that we help to deliver cost and carbon savings to. Our key customer facing brands are Forest Fuels, HWEnergy and Urban Reserve. We also provide battery storage and stand-by power generation. AMP has significant biomass industry experience and through its subsidiary Forest Fuels sells high quality wood pellet and wood chip to end customers throughout the UK. It also provides operation and maintenance services to around 900 biomass boiler and CHP systems via AMP s majority interest in HWEnergy.

How we operate Biomass Heat Business Projects Business Investments Together Forest Fuels and HWEnergy is the UK s leading supplier of premium grade, RHI compliant, wood pellet and chip serving almost 4,000 customers AMP develops, finances and manages distributed energy projects focussing on biomass heat/steam and CHP. AMP also develops and finances gas-fired peaking plants and battery storage projects to provide reserve power and frequency stability for the National Grid AMP s strategy is to grow assets under management and to build up off-balance sheet carried interest together with making long-term investments in companies aligned to our corporate strategy Service and Maintenance Wood Fuels Commercial Boiler Buy Backs Industrial On-site Renewables Grid Balancing >100MW pipeline of gas and batteries Incubex AMP has a 28.8% share in Incubex, a product and business development company Aggregated Micro Power Infrastructure 2 plc ( AMPIL ) New Grid Balancing Fund

How can we help AMP s Industrial Renewables team has developed three tailored offerings to deliver AMP is supported by industry leading suppliers to provide the most effective, organisations? significant cost and carbon savings to high intensity heat and power users. efficient and technically robust energy centres. There is increasing pressure on businesses to reduce energy costs, cut carbon and achieve greater energy security and cost certainty. Clean growth is at the heart of the future vision for the UK economy. Through the Climate Change Act, the UK Government has set a target to significantly reduce UK greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% by 2050, and has provided a path to get there. It is widely thought that UK industries must decarbonise to remain competitive and exploit opportunities to meet the fast-growing demand for low carbon goods and services. Whilst businesses already have their own carbon targets to meet, there is a degree of uncertainty as to what future government policy and legislation affecting UK businesses may be. Biomass Steam and Power Biomass Process Steam and Heat Waste Heat Recovery AMP will finance, develop and build an on-site biomass or waste heat recovery energy centre, which allows customers to lock in affordable, renewable energy. It will also help future proof businesses from future UK Government carbon policy and rising gas prices. In most cases customers will retain their existing energy plant as back up. Customers and AMP enter long term energy supply agreements which provide cost certainty and energy security. In some cases, it is necessary to secure the Tariff Guarantee funding (RHI) to make the energy centre viable. AMP take care of the RHI application and funding. As energy forecasts suggest that gas prices will continue to rise, we believe that now is the time for intensive energy users to commit to a low carbon, low cost energy centre, and to a secure energy future. Lock in long-term energy savings Benefits of working with AMP Gas/Heat Prices p/kwh End-to-end service Technical expertise and excellence Experienced team adept at finding the right energy solution for your business In-house biomass fund with finance readily available No capital outlay required Specialists in the sale of premium wood fuels and biomass installations

Biomass Steam and Power Energy Centre Our fully funded Biomass Steam and Power Energy Centre is specifically tailored to provide intensive process heat users with the lowest carbon, lowest cost energy, without compromising on manufacturing or process integrity. Working with our technical partner Turboden, this is a highly efficient plant using proven technology. AMP has a proven track record in biomass heat, and through its subsidiary Forest Fuels, sells high quality wood pellet and wood chip to almost 4,000 customers in the UK. It also provides operation and maintenance services to around 900 biomass boiler and CHP systems via AMP s majority interest in HWEnergy. Why choose Biomass Steam and Power? biomass is a renewable, sustainable, low carbon fuel source high quality heat, reliability and high overall system efficiency delivered through proven plant designs fully compliant with EU standards ESCO structure delivers long term cost savings for customers, greater energy price certainty and removes operational risk save up to 25% in heating costs and up to 25% on electricity costs over a long term future proof your process in anticipation of government low carbon policies Is this right for your business? 6 Biomass Process Steam and Heat Energy Centre Our fully funded Biomass Process Steam and Heat Energy Centre provides low cost, low carbon energy for manufacturers who use heat or steam in a process. Why choose Biomass Process Steam and Heat? biomass is a renewable, sustainable, low carbon fuel source future proof your process in anticipation of government low carbon objectives ESCO structure delivers long term cost savings for customers, greater energy price certainty and removes operational risk Tariff Guarantee To deliver our biomass energy centres, we take advantage of the Government s Tariff Guarantee Process (RHI). This is the first time that the Government has introduced an incentive scheme to support the delivery of large heat projects which allows for tariff lock in at the time of project financial close. The scheme is now open and projects with a guarantee must be operational by January 31 st Given construction lead times this means it is critical to act promptly to take forward these projects. save up to 25% on current heating costs high quality steam/heat, reliability and high overall system efficiency Is this right for your business? Suitable for process heat users operating on a 12 hour/5 day cycle: using more than 8,000,000kWh per year with steam consumption of 4+ tonnes per hour on grid and 2+ tonner per hour off grid operating for 4,000+ processing hours per year

Waste Heat Recovery Energy Centre Our fully funded Waste Heat Recovery Centre provides large industrials with the opportunity to decarbonise high temperature heat processes and significantly reduce electricity costs, without capital investment. Working with our technical partner Turboden, the technology is a proven first-class solution which has been deployed around the world. AMP will finance, design, build and operate an on-site Waste Heat Recovery Energy Centre through an ESCO. Why consider a Waste Heat Recovery solution? significantly reduce carbon emissions ESCO structure delivers long term cost savings for customers, greater energy price certainty and removes operational risk proven plant designs fully compliant to EU standards Is this right for your business? suitable for companies operating 48 weeks per year and 24/7: who have very high temperature heat (250 degrees)

Technical excellence AMP works with industry leading suppliers who have a proven track record of technical excellence, designing the most cost effective and efficient plants on the market. Our main technical partner is Turboden, which is owned by Mitsibushi Heavy Industries. Turboden is a leading technical supplier with 35 years industry experience. It has 358 operational plants globally. Turboden is a specialist in integrating with biomass systems and also has considerable expertise in designing industrial waste to heat recovery plants. AMP developed a state-of the-art 1.65MW steam-generating CHP plant for Villa Nursery, in Royden, Essex. This biomass facility forms part of the Nursery s sustainable development programme over the next 20 years, and will help the business increase productivity and reduce costs. Biomass Credentials AMP has considerable experience in the biomass industry. 9 How does AMP fund its Energy Centres? How the ESCO model works Aggregated Micro Power Infrastructure 2 plc (AMPIL2 plc) is a dedicated funding vehicle that finances projects developed by AMP and other developers. Utilising the AMPIL2 fund we fully finance, develop, build and operate the energy centre and the customer simply pays for the energy they use. An AMP Energy Centre requires no upfront capital from the customer the volumes and costs of energy being used are agreed under a long-term contract. Key benefits of our financial model no CAPEX required from the customer. We finance the full project reduced heat and power costs de-risk fuel supply, operations and maintenance long term, inflation linked, secure fuel supply provides energy cost certainty making long term budget setting easier From January 2019 new accounting rules (IFR 16) may require ESCO assets to be recognized on a lease on the balance sheet. AMP can work with customers to be flexible on structure.
