We provide injury analysis (describing the events that resulted from work-related injuries and illnesses) for firms and/or industries, and statistical analyses of injuries for specific geographical areas (divisions, sections or municipalities). You can also review details of the most widespread occupational injuries, common types of accidents and effects on the injured. Firm profiles are helpful for member companies who wish to evaluate their accident prevention programs. Profiles offer WSIB financial statistics, firm frequency, and industry averages for a period of six years. 7 $995 Practical Risk Assessment 2 days This course removes the mystery and complexity from this critical skill. Participants are provided with a sound understanding of basic risk principles. Simple, qualitative, and semi-quantitative assessment techniques are emphasized for use when more complex techniques are not appropriate. Not everyone needs to lead or participate in a HAZOP, for example, but everyone does need to apply the skills taught and practised in this course. $395/ module $995/ 3 modules $2695/ all 9 modules Safety Leadership Skills 9 days Toronto This workshop is a unique approach to acquire initial or refresher training in subjects critical to the effective practice of safety and health and/or loss control management activities. Individual modules or any combination of modules within these three program levels may be completed as desired. Participants who satisfactorily complete all three modules within all three-program levels will receive a certificate in Safety Management Practices. This workshop is designed to improve employee performance. It is comprised of nine individual modules divided into three separate workshops, held over a series of nine widespread days. $1495 Safety Management Systems Auditing 3 days 4 6 Safety management systems auditing (SMSA) provides participants with a consistent approach to safety management auditing using proven auditing techniques and concepts. Class participants will gain audit experience in a simulation exercise designed to provide skills in auditing and report writing. There is no designated auditing protocol associated with this program. No license is required. The SMSA course is the general and less detailed version of the ASA (Accredited Safety Auditing) course. Recommended for safety and loss control managers, professionals, committee members, and team leaders seeking audit knowledge and experience.
