14 What you said about working here In response to the survey question What makes this a great workplace? some examples of what you said include: In response to the survey question What would make this a better workplace? some examples of what you said include: More flexibility around working from home and investment in my career progression I work with some fabulous people in my team who go the extra mile and are values driven. Flexibility of home and office based working, since in a large mixed open space office it can be difficult to concentrate to get tasks completed due to distractions and noise. The people in my team. The students. The subject matter I teach Good IT services always there to help thank you The team that I work with are all committed to creating a great experience for our students. We are a very supportive team Cakes in the staff room! Make a decision and stick to it. The constant changing of direction, starting implementing plans that are changed half way through. Seeing the Head of School and being allowed to have a question time type meeting More staff at the "coal face" and less layers of management ess staff in an office or quieter work areas. More 1:1 spaces to take students to for private meetings. Senior management need to listen to the workforce, use the intellectual capital available to them more appropriately. Create an atmosphere in school meetings where staff feel able share ideas. That workloads were manageable rather than unrealistic. That hard work and innovation is rewarded. Less corporate ethos, recognition of the meaning of the things we do and the meaning in the lives of our students. A thank you to the right people every now and again would be nice. The full set of verbatim comments for your area have been provided to your management team; they will use the feedback to make improvements. Be please assured that the anonymity and confidentiality of this data has been preserved; comments have only been attributed to School/Professional Service level and no other identifying information is available.
