A highly complex scenario needs solutions which are conceived and created ad hoc and a practical approach proves to be key. 2. 5 8 9 Process quality and product quality Objective maximum efficiency: rapid and secure spare parts The workshop is the place where our specialised workers, mechanics and electricians who have more than 20 years experience assemble and test all our machines. Our company has always preferred individual job orders compared to mass processing operations: every plant is personalized, in accordance with the customer s requests and the design s technical specifications which strictly comply with the quality standards and the requested delivery times. Each machine is tested at the end of the assembly operations to verify that the assembly has been performed correctly and to verify that the components and software installed are fully functi onal. The group s guidelines have been followed and we have applied: The CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventive Action) process as an integral part of managing the variations within the company. This process not only aims to identify and correct the deviations (corrective action), but also to define and apply procedures and measures to avoid a repetition of problems in the future (preventive action). Logistics Design and engineering Our warehouse is structured to ensure the availability of all the principal spare parts, in particular, the key spare parts for the machines operation. Emergency shipments are completed within an average of 48 hours after receiving the order. The value of the goods available corresponds to approximately 2 million Euros. SAFE AIR TRANSPORT In 2013 our company was awarded the ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) Known Consignor certificate. This means that the goods and post originating from our company comply with common security standards, a characteristic that enables Ventomatic products to be transported immediately on any kind of aircraft. 5S methodology is applied in the production area that, in five steps, encompasses a systematic and repeatable method to optimise the work standards, and therefore, improve the operating performance. Testing Supply Chain EMBARGO-PROOF EXPORTS Production and Assembly Quality control We have structured an advanced Export Control system. We can ensure the unrestricted exportability of our parts, in full compliance with current laws and regulations (for example, just consider the laws and regulations which govern the exports of products with a potential dual use - civil and military - and the laws and regulations which regard countries subject to restrictions and embargoes imposed by provisions issued by the European Union Council and by USA regulations).
