6 Proposed TDM Plan Goals Goal 1: Improve customer convenience and travel experience Goal 2: Increase transportation connectivity, mode choice, and access Goal 3: Streamline regional coordination of policies, programs, services, and investments Goal 4: Enhance programs for non-commute trips and changing markets Goal 5: Diversify & expand funding sources and program sustainability Goal 6: Pursue continuous performance & operations improvements

7 Goal 1: Improve customer convenience & travel experience Develop one-stop info source to improve & simplify customer experience Consolidate ride matching & incentive systems Streamline messaging to make sure all outreach tied to Georgia Commute Options brand Develop targeted messaging for specific modes & customers Pursue coordinated fare structure & access pass

8 Goal 2: Increase transportation connectivity, mode choice, & access Improve coordination of regional transportation planning, land use, & travel choice Incorporate TDM into local land use policies, project prioritization & development review Improve & invest in bike/ped infrastructure, access, & safety Strategically link express bus service, local transit, vanpools, managed lanes, and park & ride lots Restructure parking policies to encourage non-sov travel

9 Goal 3: Streamline regional coordination of policies, programs, services, & investments Designate lead agency (TDM Program Manager) for management & funding allocation for regional TDM programs Restructure Employer Services Committee (ESC) to be within existing MPO committee structure Designate single organization, overseen by TDM Program Manager, to administer outreach & marketing programs Enhance operations & integrated marketing of vanpool program Establish clear roles & responsibilities for all partners & stakeholders Align TDM planning & decision making with regional planning process
