2 1. Introduction MRac Trapezoidal Metal Roof Mounting System is developed for trapezoidal corrugated metal roofs. This optimized mounting system will be directly fixed on the metal roof easily with simple installation tools. Please read this Installation Guide thoroughly before installing the MRac Trapezoidal Metal Roof Mounting System. Please pay attention to work safety and observe the appropriate local safety regulations. Please confirm that you are using the current version of the Installation Guide by contact Mibet Energy by mail on or your local representative. If necessary, please check the newest version on the official website of Mibet Energy:. The installer shall conform to the following rules: Complying with all applicable local or national building codes, including any that may supersede this manual; Ensuring that MRac and other products are appropriate for the particular installation and the installation environment; Using only parts from Mibet Energy and tools as specified by MRac (Substitution of parts may void the warranty and invalidate the letter of certification on Page 6); How to recycle: according to the local relative statute; How to disassemble: reverse with installation steps; Ensure that there are no less than two professional panel-installation workers; Ensure the installation of relative electrical equipment is performance by professional electrician. Installation Guide 4.1 Installation of the Mounting System (1) According the project solution, put the Trapezoidal Interface on the top of the corrugated trapezoidal surface, and fix the Trapezoidal Interface firmly with self-tapping screws; (Refer to the Right Pictures) (2) Mount all the other Trapezoidal Interfaces on the place planed in the project solution on corrugated trapezoidal surface. (Refer to Right Pictures) (3) Install a Pro Rail on Trapezoidal Interfaces; please confirm the length of this rail; if the length of rail is not long enough, add one rail and connect the two rails by one splice. 4

5 (4) Put a Pro Rail on Trapezoidal Interfaces, and fasten it by Side Kit; the side kits shall be installed in inner sides (facing to each other ) for each pair (two rails) of rails; the splices shall be installed in the outer side; Splices shall be installed in inner sides (5) Install all other rails according to the project solution like Step (4) above; make sure all the bolts are tightened. 4.2 Installation of Solar Panels 5

6 (1) Put solar panels on the rails; and fix the panels with end clamps at the edge of the array; put and fix the inter clamps between two panels, like shown in the right picture; Installation of End Clamps Installation of Inter Clamps (2) Install all the other solar panels as above; Check after finishing the installation to make sure all the bolts are tightened and the installation is correct. 6

7 5.15 year limited Product Warranty, 5 year limited Finish Warranty Mibet (Xiamen) New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter as Mibet Energy ) warrants to the original purchaser ( NSEW Trading Pty Ltd. ) of products that it manufactures ( Solar PV Mounting Systems ) at the original installation site that the Product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of fifteen (15) years, except for the under normal atmospheric conditions for a period of five (5) years, from the earlier of 1). The date the installation of the Product is completed, or 2). 30 days after the purchase of Product by the original Purchaser ( Finish Warranty ). The Finish Warranty does not apply to any foreign residue deposited on the finish. All installations in corrosive atmospheric conditions are excluded. The Finish Warranty is VOID if the practices specified by AAMA 609 & Cleaning and Maintenance for Architecturally Finished Aluminum ( are not followed by Purchaser. This Warranty does not cover damage to the Product that occurs during its shipment, storage, or installation. This Warranty shall be VOID if installation of the Product is not performed in accordance with Mibet s written installation instructions, or if the Product has been modified, repaired, or reworked in a manner not previously authorized by Mibet IN WRITING, or if the Product is installed in an environment for which it was not designed. Mibet shall not be liable for consequential, contingent or incidental damages arising out of the use of the Product by Purchaser under any circumstances. If within the specified Warranty periods the Product shall be reasonably proven to be defective, then Mibet shall repair or replace the defective Product, or any part thereof, in Mibet s sole discretion. Such repair or replacement shall completely satisfy and discharge all of Mibet s liability with respect to this limited Warranty. Under no circumstances shall Mibet be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages arising out of or related to use by Purchaser of the Product. In addition to our Warranty against Defects, the Frame also comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees). In the event that the Frame fails to satisfy a Consumer Guarantee, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Frame repaired or replaced if 7

8 the Frame fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Please note that in addition to the rights and remedies set out in this document, you may also have other rights and remedies available to you under the law. *Manufacturers of related items, such as PV modules and flashings, may provide written warranties of their own. Mibet s limited Warranty covers only its Product, and not any related items. Making a claim If you believe that the Frame is defective and you are an End-User, you may either make a claim against the installer or builder from whom you purchased the Frame or you may make a claim against us directly. In order to make a claim against us, you must post, fax or us a notice, using the contact details set out below. In your notice you must provide: details of why you believe the Frame is defective; a copy of your invoice, receipt or any other document which provides proof of purchase; Details of any expenses you have incurred in making your claim; and details of how we should contact you. Within a reasonable time after receipt of your claim we will contact you to arrange a time to attend the premises at which the Frame is located. Jurisdiction Our Warranty against Defects is to be construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria and any disputes will be determined by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
