3 Morgana is unusual in designing and manufacturing its own finishing products as well as being sole UK distributor for other leading names such as EBA, Ernst Nagel, Uchida, Bindomatic and Nagano. About 80% of Morgana s UK-made products are exported and the company has built-up a global network of dealers and distributors covering all major overseas markets. Recently it has set up its own operation to supply markets in the United States and Canada and is very close to fulfilling its aim to establish a coast-to-coast distribution network covering the whole of the North American continent is a highly significant year for Morgana, as it saw the opening of a new company headquarters building in Milton Keynes. This will, for the first time, bring all the company s operations under one roof. 4 The AutoCreaser 33 First and still best the Morgana AutoCreaser 33 was the original automated solution to the problems caused by the tendency of digital print to crack when folded. Easy to use, fast and affordable, the AutoCreaser uses Morgana s patented blade and matrix creasing mechanism that is equally effective with digital output or with cross-grained stock that has been conventionally printed. The suction fed AutoCreaser s high levels of automation ensure consistently accurate creasing throughout the run. The bookletmakers cover a wide spectrum of applications and all units take either flat or looped staples for storage in ring binders. Foldnak M2 Ideal for inplants or low volume on demand applications, the Foldnak M2 is an entry-level model that will produce finished booklets from A6 to SRA3. Can be supplied as a bench-top or free-standing unit. Foldnak 40 This highly popular mid-range machine produces 100 page booklets of 80 gsm paper. Unlike other systems, all Rhin-o-Tuff Punches feature interchangeable dies enabling them to produce hole patterns for plastic comb, plastic spiral, wire and Velo Bind systems. The dies can be changed in seconds without special tools. HD 7700 Ultima This new heavy-duty desk-top punch has a capacity of 35 sheets of 80 gsm stock. An overload trigger prevents the operator from attempting to punch too many sheets and a reversing function eliminates jams. The unit will punch documents up to 350mm wide, well in excess of A4. The punch may be operated either with a foot pedal to leave the hands free or with a conveniently positioned palm switch. HD 8370 The APES automatic paper ejector and stacker can increase the productivity of heavyduty Rhin-o-Tuff punches by as much as 50%. The APES-14, (Automatic Punching & Ejection System) enables paper that has been punched on the popular Rhin-o-Tuff HD range of punches to be automatically ejected and stacked in one pass. This cuts down hugely on manual paper handling and enables the user to increase output for a minimal capital outlay. Existing Rhin-o-Tuff users will also benefit as the new unit is easily fitted to their machines. The new stacker ejector will take up to 1,000 sheets of paper in sizes in excess of A4 and complements the wire inserting and binding products recently introduced by Morgana. This semi-automatic wire inserter/closer is capable of closing documents with a 3-1 pitch. It allows documents up to 14mm to be bound using double loop wire and can easily be adjusted to accept different wire sizes. Operation is simple, using a magnetic back guide to hold the wire in place. The punched work is then inserted over the wire and the handle is used to close the wire around the document all in one operation. 12 CITOBORMA BY ERNST NAGEL The World s Best Selling Drills Over 40,000 Citoborma drills have been installed worldwide a testament to their reliability, versatility and value for money. The range includes models of different sizes and specifications to suit all applications and to meet all budgetary requirements. The latest generation is the Citoborma 90 Series, which adds greater diversity to the range with features such as the unique FlexoDrill sliding table and the ability to set up preprogrammed drilling patterns in seconds. 14 EBA High-Volume Document Shredders This range of superbly engineered EBA shredders has been carefully selected to provide high-volume users with a choice of models to suit their particular document security needs.
