3 MyDHL 3 SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Forgot Password or User ID? This link will return your credentials for MyDHL. Need more info about something? Simply select I Want to Learn More About. MyDHL is an all-in-one, web-based shipment management system designed to help you quickly prepare exports, simplify import arrangements and accurately track your shipments during transit. With MyDHL, you re just a click away from primary shipping functions! In this guide, you ll see how to access helpful demos and guides, which will help you quickly learn how to use each accessible tool. While you are using the website, gain more helpful information at any time by simply selecting I want to Learn More About on the standard home page. Once you are registered with MyDHL and all preferences have been saved, make every visit more efficient by personalizing your home page to access the transactions you use most often. 4 New User 4 REGISTRATION Only fields marked with an asterisk are required (*), but the more information you provide the better DHL is equipped to assist you. The registration process is the first step to using MyDHL. You will receive a confirmation to activate your login credentials. In order to use MyDHL as your shipment management system, return within 24 hours of receipt and complete your profile. 1. Go to and click New User? Register Now. 2. Select your country from the drop-down menu. 3. Enter your first and last name in the fields provided. 4. Provide your address and enter it a second time to ensure we have the correct information. 5. Create a user name to log into MyDHL. 6. Create a password and reenter the password in the fields provided. When considering your password, ensure it has at least 1 letter, 1 number and 1 special character and is at least 8 total characters long or more. 7. Enter the letters and numbers visible to the right of the field Enter Characters. 8. Click Next. Click Try a new one if the characters provided are too difficult.

5 New User 5 REGISTRATION (continued) Company Information 1. Enter your company s name. Click the? to get formatting or requirements information. Phone numbers do not require any special characters to be included. Enter your personal details if you are not shipping on behalf of a company. 2. Provide your company s VAT or TAX ID number. 3. Select a job title that best fits from the drop-down menu. 4. Select the appropriate salutation from the list provided. 5. Provide your mobile phone number, direct company phone number and preferred personal contact number. 6. Fax numbers are useful to have on file to share documentation. 7. Provide the primary DHL Express account billing street address including the street name, number, postal or zip code and town or city, province or state. If your shipments are collected from a different location than the billing address, click the Different Pickup Address box and provide the location details.

6 New User 6 REGISTRATION (continued) 8. Select one of the following options that best describes your current account status with DHL. a. I have one or more DHL account number(s) This option refers to both export and import account numbers for DHL Express. Ensure your profile is set up correctly by adding all active DHL Express account numbers now. The credit card option will only appear if it is available in your country of origin for exporting. b. I do not have a DHL account but would like to receive one A DHL Express Sales Representative will be contacting you to discuss the benefits of opening an account and start the new account setup process. c. I do not have a DHL account and will ship using my credit card A DHL Express Sales Representative will be contacting you to assess your shipping needs because a credit card profile is best if you only ship a few times per year, yet want the most convenient way to do so whenever the need arises. 9. Enter an active export or import DHL Express account number in the field provided. Click Add Another Account button and continue entering all of your active export and import DHL Express account numbers. 10. Click Next.

7 New User 7 REGISTRATION (continued) Company Profile 1. Select the industry your company is associated with from the dropdown menu. 2. the typical shipment volume from all locations using the options provided. 3. Select the number of of employees that most closely reflects your company s range. 4. Click Next. Terms and Conditions 1. Scroll down to review the local DHL Privacy Policy as well as Terms and Conditions of Carriage. 2. Accept them by checking the box. 3. Opt to receive additional communications from DHL by checking the box. 4. Click Next. To refer to DHL Terms and Conditions, go to DHL.com and select your country from the drop-down menu. Then click as follows: > Express > Shipping > Shipping Advice > Terms and Conditions Save with our latest promotions, learn about ecommerce solution updates and ship with newest services options.

8 New User 8 REGISTRATION (continued) Congratulations, you are registered on MyDHL! You will receive a web page confirming your registration and an providing details to activate your login. Your activation will be valid for 24 hours following delivery of confirmation. Return to activate your MyDHL credentials 1. Click on the link provided in the Enter the User ID and Password you previously created. 3. Click Login. Next Steps Don t see a confirmation in your inbox? Each address can only be registered once with MyDHL, please check the spam mail folder. If you still have not received your confirmation , please contact DHL Express for assistance. Current account holders: continue to page 9 to finish setting up your profile now. New DHL Express account requestors: visit My Profile on page 9 once you receive your new DHL Express account number(s) confirmation with the welcome kit. Credit card users: continue to page 18 to start shipping right away with your credit card.

9 Manage Profile 9 ACCOUNTS/COMPANY INFORMATION Manage your DHL Express export and import accounts here. Add, delete and request new accounts any time. 1. Go to 2. Go to Manage Profile on the top navigation bar and select Accounts/ Company Information. 3. Go to the Box titled DHL Account(s) to the bottom right of the screen. 4. Enter your account in the available field and click Add. You will then see the account number supported by MyDHL below. 5. Continue adding accounts until all export and import accounts are reflected on the screen. 6. Click Save. Double-check information previously provided and complete any remaining fields. If you don t have an import account and would like to request one, do so by click here. Non-account holders who registered for MyDHL must wait until DHL provides the new import, export or both account number(s) to register for solutions.

10 Manage Profile 10 MY TOOLS/MY PROFILE Your personal information should already be complete based on the information provided to create your user credentials. If you have not already opted to receive s from DHL, take a moment to select the box now. My Tools/My Profile is all about you. By customizing your preferences to your specific needs, you make every shipping task go much faster and easier. There is no need to remember multiple passwords or different log-in processes. Here you can: Manage your personal information Change your user password Enable your access to DHL tools Are you ready to use the time-saving tools, capabilities and customized controls now available to you? It all starts on the next page! Once you complete with the following setup steps, you will be able to visit and enter your MyDHL password once to gain complete access to the suite of shipment management tools.

11 Manage Profile 11 MY TOOLS/MY PROFILE (continued) MyDHL Tools 1. Click My Tools/My Profile in the left navigation and then click on MyDHL Tools tab. 2. Place your cursor in each box next to each application you would like to access in MyDHL. DHL ProView monitor export and import account numbers for current shipment event status and send automatic updates for those you have set up: DHL Express export and/or import account number is required DHL Import Express Online keep your import account number confidential, while effectively communicating with shippers around the world who be sending shipments on it for processing your shipments: DHL Express import account number required DHL Online Shipping/ Web Shipping prepare your export shipments, create electronic Customs documents and schedule pickups: DHL Express export account number required

12 Manage Profile 12 MY TOOLS/MY PROFILE (continued) 3. Each box checked will expand to show a corresponding User ID and Password field. You have previously registered to use a tool provide the login credentials you would typically type to access in the standalone application You have not registered to use the tool click Create Access Now You may need to return and add an account at a later time, simply follow the steps noted on pages 9 through 12. Scenario Examples a) If you have never registered to track with ProView, click Create Access Now. Forgot your password for one of the tools? You can Create Access Now but you will lose all of your saved contacts and shipping history. To have your password ed to you, go to the tool login web page accessed previously and submit a request to receive your password. b) A DHL Express import account number has been requested and you are waiting on the confirmation. Leave the box and fields blank. Once the account number is received, return to manage your profile. c) Prior to registering for MyDHL, you prepared your exports online with Online Shipping / Web Shipping. Enter your export shipping registered login credentials.

For each tool you requested to Create Access Now, the screen will prompt you to select the radio button next to the desired DHL Express account number you would like associated with the application. 2. The address provided to register with MyDHL will auto-populate. 3. Enter your MyDHL password and retype it for confirmation. ProView also includes a challenge question and answer for future password reset, but this does not affect your MyDHL credentials. If you receive an error message, simply enter your MyDHL User Name in place of the address. 4. Click Continue and repeat steps for each solution. 5. Click Save. Activation When all solutions have been entered successfully, you will see a message at the top of the screen. 1. Enable your saved details and start using MyDHL now, log out. 2. And then login again. Next Steps Continue to page 14 if you would like to set your home page. You can also revisit this step, once you are comfortable using MyDHL to facilitate your shipping. Create multiple users access for your company accounts. Corporate Administrators continue to page 15 to begin granting access to others. Ready to ship now? 14 Manage Profile 14 HOME PAGE SETTINGS If you haven t done so already, select your preferred language to utilize MyDHL from the drop-down menu now. We know you are busy and MyDHL can help you streamline everyday activities from the moment you login. Make your personal home page the tool you will use most often. Or, use the standard MyDHL home page for more easy-to-access options. 1. Go to and select Manage Profile on the top navigation bar. 2. Click Home Page Settings in the left navigation. 3. Select the your new home page from drop-down menu. Home the standard MyDHL home page grants quick access to all major functions Track monitor all of your shipments current event status at-at-glance Ship start entering your waybill details as soon as you login Example of Login Process with Track Import jump right into preparing shipping instructions Manage Profile Corporate Administrators with frequently changing users will find this helpful 4. Click Save.

15 Manage Multiple Users 15 ADDITIONAL USERS As the Corporate Administrator, you will have the ability to grant employee access to your company s DHL Express accounts within the shipping management system. Quickly enter their information, grant access and start letting go with complete confidence. 1. Go to and select Manage Profile on the top navigation bar. 2. Click Additional Users in the left navigation. 3. Create the new user Personal Profile by entering all of the required fields. 4. Select the user rights you would like to grant under Login Details from the drop-down menu. An auto-populated temporary User ID will be visible until the user returns to update with their preferred ID. Standard users receive access to all of the tools you enable in the next step Customer-Admin is the Corporate Administrator who manages access to each tool and account for multiple users 5. Click Next.

16 Manage Multiple Users 16 ADDITIONAL USERS (continued) Using Primary Account 1. Click MyDHL Tools tab. 2. Check the boxes next to the tools for which you would like to grant access. If you receive an error message, simply enter your MyDHL User Name in place of the address. 3. Each box checked will expand to show a corresponding User ID and P a s s w o r dfi e l d. 4. Enter the respective User ID and Password for each tool you provided when previously creating your personal access. Apply Additional Account 1. To assign the user a different DHL Express account number you currently have on file with MyDHL for usage with a tool click Create Access Now. Case Example Import Express Online is currently tied to one account number for your profile. You want the user to be tied to a different account number your company has with DHL for reporting and security reasons. 2. For each tool you requested to Create Access Now, the screen will prompt you to select the radio button next to the desired DHL Express account number you would like associated with the application. 3. The address provided to register with MyDHL will auto-populate. The new user will receive an from DHL with their temporary login details advising them to activate their MyDHL registration within 24 hours. 4. Enter the respective User ID and Password for each tool you provided when previously creating your personal access. ProView also includes a challenge question and answer for future password reset, but does not affect your MyDHL credentials. 5. Click Continue and repeat steps for each solution. 6. Click Save.

17 Manage Multiple Users 17 ADDITIONAL USERS (continued) Clearly see all of the authorized users at-a-glance for your company accounts. You will have visibility to their User ID, first name, last name, role and rights setting in a an easy to use table. Status Active received invite and returned to MyDHL to activate the credentials. Inactive received invite and did not return to activate within 24 hours. Delete an Additional User Profile 1. Go to and select Manage Profile on the top navigation bar. 2. Click Additional Users in the left navigation. 3. Click the red X icon on the line of the desired user. Edit an Additional User s Profile and Tool Access 1. Go to and select Manage Profile on the top navigation bar. 2. Click Additional Users in the left navigation. 3. Click the red pencil icon on the line of the desired user. 4. Update as necessary and click Save.

Shipping with a DHL Account 1. Login at 2. Scroll over Ship on the top navigation bar. 3. Click Ship Online (DHL Online Shipping or Web Shipping). 4. Begin preparing the waybill because you re already logged in. It s that fast to prepare your waybills with MyDHL! It only takes a few pieces of information to create access for additional users. Corporate Administrators: go to page 15 to begin granting access to others. Shipping with a Credit Card 1. Login at 2. Scroll over Ship on the top navigation bar. Keep your account details secure while maintaining visibility of your shipment status with DHL Import Express Online (IEO). DHL account holders determine the level of rights for each individual of their shippers. It s your choice as to how much access you want your shipper to have. The shipper will utilize a clear and concise tabular interface making it easy for them to view current shipping instructions. Or, you can personally prepare your import shipment waybills, instructions for the shipper, and arrange for pickups online in just a few clicks. 1. Go to to login. 2. Scroll over Import on the top navigation bar. 3. Click Import Online. 4. Begin managing your shippers because you re already logged in. MyDHL is safe and simple to use! Credit card payment is not enabled for IEO.

20 Track 20 TRACK AND MONITOR ALL SHIPMENTS DHL ProView allows you to monitor shipments online by account number, receiver billed, outbound and more. You have total visibility of your shipments with the at-aglance shipment status dashboard providing the current event details for all shipments at once. This allows you to quickly focus on any Customs delays and exceptions that may require research and/or working with the importer or exporter to resolve. ProView provides additional details and suggests the next steps for each waybill to keep your shipments moving. Get all the information you and your customers need on time, all the time.
