2 Dear Colleagues! Tatiana Terentieva HR Director of ROSATOM 4 We are pleased to introduce you to this edition describing the integrated offer of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom (ROSATOM) in the field of and personnel training for the nuclear industry of Partner Countries Rosatom HR Solution. As one of the world s leaders in the nuclear energy industry, ROSATOM places great emphasis on human resource development. Obviously, the nuclear industry relies heavily on high technologies and requires specific qualifications, deep knowledge of the subject and high level of responsibility from its workers. Over 70 years of working in the industry, we have developed unique technologies and al programs that allow to approach the issue of personnel training and continuing professional development in a comprehensive way. To train specialists in the nuclear energy field, today ROSATOM performs extensive activities at all levels, including schools, vocational organizations, universities, and industry centers for continuing professional. In 2014 alone, employees of industrial enterprises completed retraining, training, and continuing professional programs, which accounts for 48% of total staff. With these high standards set to employees, the war for talents has become acute in the past years. It is further intensified by employers wish to choose not just from a selection of engineering graduates, but from the best High Potential specialists. Thus, in academic years Russian industry-focused universities received 76 applications per 1 place from Russian candidates, while currently over 700 foreign students from 11 countries of the world are getting their degrees at Russian universities as well. This explicitly testifies to the high demand for nuclear jobs and the prestige of Russian nuclear. One of ROSATOM s priorities is collaboration with a Partner Country in the field of and training of personnel. We offer you the materials that have been structured with regard to all stages of initiation and development of the national nuclear power program in a Partner Country as well as NPP life cycle, including sets of al programs for all key categories of personnel: Nuclear infrastructure personnel, NPP personnel, Construction-engineering personnel, Scientific and research personnel, Young specialists and professors. Current edition is one of the catalogues of the integrated offer of ROSATOM (Rosatom HR Solution) Rosatom Education and Training. NPP Personnel. This catalogue will be of particular interest to the operating nuclear power countries, as it introduces personnel trainings programs for the whole NPP life cycle. We are pleased to share with you our knowledge and experience in the field of, training and retraining of highly qualified specialists for the nuclear industry. I am sure that this information will be of interest both to the operating nuclear power countries and the newcomers, and I am convinced that these materials will lay the foundation stone for our long-standing and mutually beneficial collaboration grounded on developing knowledge and competencies and exchanging experience.
