2 Aistin IoT Starter Kit A simple tool, providing a fast Proof-of-Concept platform for IoT solutions The Aistin IoT Starter Kit typical configuration includes a set of wireless sensors for measuring Temperature, Moisture, Carbon Dioxide, Air Pressure and Acceleration. A Remote access unit includes wireless (WLAN) and wired (ETH) connections to the internet. Measurement data is saved locally to the remote access unit, and it can be viewed by web browser, or directed to your cloud server. 7 Powering on the Aistin Gateway Aistin IoT Starter Kit Quick start guide 1. Plug the USB modem or ethernet cable into the Aistin GW. 2. Plug the Micro USB power supply unit into the mains and the Aistin GW. 3. Aistin GW now powers on. The red LED should light continuously and the green LED blink irregularly. 4. Aistin GW is successfully powered on when USB modem or Ethernet port lights are on. When using a USB-modem for network connection, please check the manual for how to identify successful connection. o On Huawei E3372, continuously lit blue LED or turquoise LED shows successful 3G or 4G connection respectively When using an Ethernet Cable for network connection, the Ethernet port lights indicate cable is connected. 5. Set the sensors, configured as desired, within 20 meters of the Aistin GW. Obstacles between Aistin GW and the sensor can decrease the range. Shutting down the Aistin Gateway 1. Unplug Micro USB power cable from Aistin GW. 2. Aistin GW will automatically shut down in 2 minutes. 3. When all the lights are turned off the Aistin GW has been successfully shut down.
