Amalgamating the best features of the previous model with new innovations that target enhanced functionality and ease of use, Meridian s new Seed Express SR2 line will enhance your on-farm operations while increasing your productivity. Meridian s newly redesigned Seed Express large capacity tender delivers 840, 1050, or 1260 cubic feet of seed, fertilizer and grain to your seeder. With 4 compartments on the 840, and 5 and 6 compartments on the 1050 and 1260, respectively, these large tenders can be used to transport multiple commodities and fertilizers at the same time. Because of their large capacity, these tenders can also be used as grain carts. The conveyor system offers several unique capabilities including auto features, conveyor synchronization, industry leading discharge heights and reach, and a patented cleated belt for high capacity. Meridian understands the fundamental needs of the farmer; functionality, ease of use, durability, and robustness to name a few. Meridian also understands the importance of capacity, cycle time and accuracy, particularly as they apply to seeding season. 3 ELECTRONICS SEED EXPRESS SR2 Meridian s new Seed Express large capacity seed tender is a remarkable display of innovation that carries a host of new features and improvements. The electronic system has both a handheld remote and an on-board touch screen that provides full access to all functions of the tender. This makes the tender easier and more effective than ever. GROUND BREAKING ELECTRONICS Intuitive touch screen interface. Meridian s Intelli-screen is a fully functional touch screen that provides an easy to follow screen design that guides you quickly to what you need. The touch screen's graphic display uses simple, effective images. No reading text and no having to decipher complicated instructions. Use the screen to operate all features of the tender, from unrolling the tarp, starting the engine, moving the conveyor to being able to control conveyor speeds and picking the specific gate. Software updates are plug and play. Simply plug a USB flash drive containing the updated software into the controller and follow the on-screen prompts. The screen has three different permission controls to help prevent changes to the controls. To help protect the screen and electronics, the system comes with a lockable fiberglass case. To help protect the electronics, Meridian uses Deutsch connectors. This keeps out dust, water and moisture. Communication modules are offered as an option. Meridian offers a remote communication module. This device allows Meridian's service technician to communicate remotely with your tender using; 3G or WiFi. We can perform diagnostics and change operating parameters. The entire wiring harness is wrapped in protective braided cover. Five function remote control. Provides an 'auto setup' feature for folding and unfolding the conveyor. 3

4 SEED EXPRESS SR2 HYDRAULICS AND TENDER BODY The hydraulics on the Seed Express large capacity seed tender have a simplified design that reduces the number of hoses and connections, improves performance, has a better fit & finish and has greater capacity and allows for a smoother operation. The hydraulic system allows the user to unload the 1260 tender in less than 8 minutes which dramatically increases efficiency. One might think there is not a lot of opportunity for improvement for something as mundane as the compartments that make up the tender body. Meridian, however, thinks otherwise. We have taken a solid design and improved it in several fundamental areas. One area of focus has been with seed spilling onto the ground. Here, we have incorporated design refinements to virtually eliminate seed spill. The net result is a cleaner yard and more seed in your field. While improvements can encompass significant change, they can also come by way of small refinements. Meridian s new Tender trailer is evidence of both. Custom designed for the application, the new trailer is perfectly mated with the tender body and the new trailermounted underbin conveyor. And, with Meridian s focus on the small details and fit & finish, users will quickly notice the attention to detail. UNPRECEDENTED CAPACITY AND EFFICIENCY Power pack gas tank and hydraulic tanks are mounted low for easy filling and access. The Honda engine can be started remotely including cold engine starts. There is no oil system head pressure at start-up. The motor starts much quicker because there are no hydraulic load at start-up. Improved Efficiency. The hydraulic system is much more efficient so that means less heat is transferred to the oil. The system runs cool with an oil reservoir of only 2 gallons, which in improved performance, even on hot days. Hoses, lines and fittings. Connection leaks are prevented by using a hardline-t-hose connection technique. The overall number of hoses has been reduced which resolves the clutter at the rear of the tender, improves serviceability and allows for improved hose routing and fit & finish. TENDER BODY Available in 840, 1050 and 1260 cu/ft sizes. A new mounting system improves the connection of the tender body to the trailer TRAILER Custom integrated trailer with air ride suspension. Landing gear on the trailer has a clearance of 15". Access holes are positioned in the trailer frame to easily tension the belt. An under run rear bumper comes standard and easily swings down and out of the way, eliminating any interference with the conveyors. 4

INCLINE CONVEYORS Two incline conveyor lengths available: Standard length; 26' which provides a minimum discharge height of 19 1/2'.

We looked at what was working on our bin conveyors and transferred features over to the tender conveyors. What you are left with is total control. Meridian understands the value of options and the 'need for speed' when referring to the incline conveyor. We offer tow conveyor lengths to cover a broader range of applications. We have also improved the design of the rear conveyor support assembly which now operates much faster and smoother than before. The net result better performance and improved productivity. INCLINE CONVEYORS Two incline conveyor lengths available: Standard length; 26' which provides a minimum discharge height of 19 1/2'. A 17' conveyor is available which provides a minimum discharge height of 9 1/2'. The net effect is a smoother running belt. Hopper uses a steel-rubber design with the forward portion of the hopper manufactured with rubber The forgiving nature of rubber allows for flexing when the conveyor is in the most downward position where it can, in some circumstances, come into contact with the trailer frame. Both the underbin and incline conveyors are speed adjustable and synchronized. UNDERBIN CONVEYOR Rod style framer structure. The underbin frame uses rods to form the 'pan' of which the belt rides. This produces less friction than sheet metal pans and prevents situations where the belt freezes to the pan in cold weather conditions. The net effect is a smoother running belt. Belt speed synchronization. The synchronized system automatically adjusts the underbin speed based on the speed of the incline conveyor. You can also set conveyor speeds outside of the synchronized settings, the system also allows for manual speed adjustment. The underbin features a deeper 'trough' profile for the belt improving the capacity of material flow and minimizes seed spill. If you need to unload the tender without the use of the incline conveyor Meridian has designed the undercar to run independently at high speed. Time to unload an entire 1260 tender is under 10 minutes. The gates operate incrementally from 0" to 4" opening. You can also open or close the gates fully. 5
