1 BOLT MAINTENANCE GUIDE

2 Begin by disassembling your Bolt unit by unscrewing the two halves counterclockwise.

3 1 Important note: When you take the two halves apart it is important to pay attention to the 1mm x 6mm oring. This oring can be in one of two positions: on the valve body or around the piston. The oring will seal properly in either position you just need to keep track of it for reassembly. Inspect this oring for damage or debris as either could compromise the seal. Lightly apply lubrication if necessary. 2 *Wolverine Airsoft suggests TechT GunSav for oring lubrication applications

4 Inspect the 1mm x 17mm oring on the valve body for damage or debris as either could compromise the seal. Lightly apply lubrication if necessary.

5 1 2 The next step is to remove the reservoir cap from the reservoir tube by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Notice the 1mm x 6mm oring in cap and inspect the oring for damage and debris. Be sure to keep track of this oring for reassembly. 3

6 After removing the reservoir cap you will see a wave spring. Remove this spring from the Air Saver TM.

7 x x 16.5 Now, remove the Air Saver TM by pushing on the wider portion of it as seen in the first photo. Inspect the 1.5mm x 6mm Viton oring and the 1.5mm x 16.5mm oring for damage or debris. Lubricate thoroughly if necessary. 3 Note: if you remove the 1.5mm x 6mm Viton oring for any reason it will need to be replaced. The removal process will almost always damage the oring.

8 Finally, push the piston out of the air saver and inspect the 1mm x 7mm oring for debris or damage. Lubricate thoroughly if necessary. Your Bolt is now ready to be reassembled.

9 Begin by sliding the piston back into the Air Saver TM. Be sure the piston has the correct orientation (as seen in picture) when you reinsert it into the Air Saver TM.

10 You will notice there is a ledge in one end of the Bolt reservoir tube. The small end of the Air Saver TM seals against this ledge when reassembled. Here is the correct orientation for inserting the Air Saver TM into the reservoir tube. The red arrow indicates the direction the Air Saver TM needs to be inserted while the black arrows indicate where the ledge is located in the tube.

11 1 When you insert the Air Saver TM into the reservoir tube it will come to a stop. This is a view of the Air Saver TM inserted into the reservoir tube. The Air Saver TM is butted up against the ledge which is indicated by the red arrow. The Air Saver TM needs to be pushed to the other side of this ledge. Simply apply a little more pressure to the Air Saver TM and it should push past the ledge. Notice in the second photo that the Air Saver TM is now past the ledge. Remember that this is the end of the reservoir tube which the valve body screws into. 2

12 1 2 The wave spring is now ready to be put back in the unit. Simply place the spring on the Air Saver TM in the end of the reservoir tube which the reservoir cap screws into (opposite the ledge). 3

13 The final assembly will be screwing the reservoir cap and the valve body into the reservoir tube. There is a specific method for properly screwing the cap and valve body into the tube. Please follow the instructions carefully. Screw the reservoir cap clockwise into the tube. Do not screw it in all the way. Be sure your 1mm x 6mm oring is still in the cap when you reassemble as indicated in slide #5.

14 Next, screw the valve body clockwise into the tube. Do not screw it in all the way. Be sure the 1mm x 6mm oring is still in the valve body or on the piston as indicated in slide #3.

15 Now, go back and screw the reservoir cap in the rest of the way. Finish by screwing the valve body in completely.

16 Your Bolt is now ready to be reinstalled into your gun!
