We are here to serve your needs every day M-F from 9:00 A.M. 5:00 P.M. EST. Just give us a call at , and our Customer service Department will be happy to assist with your order with a smile and the information you need. HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS will ship orders received by 2:00 p.m. EST the following business day, unless special shipping requirements are needed which may extend the ship date. After your order has been placed, processed, credit approved or credit card approved, product will ship at our discrepancy via common carrier freight, refrigerated, UPS small package, or FedEx small package. Shipping Procedures If you require products delivered by a certain date, please call our customer support department to verify product availability. For business and institutional deliveries, the trucking companies will assume your business is open and staffed to receive deliveries Monday-Friday during normal business hours. Please contact customer support for detailed receiving hours for your facility. For delivery appointments, please provide a contact name and phone number. Any and all redelivery charges incurred will be billed back to the customer. Freight deliveries are dock to dock, which means the receiving party will have to take the product off of the truck. Truck drivers are not responsible for taking product off the truck. Lift gate and inside delivery services are available at additional cost. 31 Damages Please be sure to check all packages for any potential damage during transit. It is the sole responsibility of the receiving party to fully inspect the product at the time of delivery for any potential damage. We recommend taking off any protective wrapping to fully inspect the product, before the driver leaves. In addition please count the product before signing the delivery receipt. HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS is not responsible for damaged products or shortage due to shipping without proper documentation. If the product is damaged in any way, we ask that you put the rejected product back on the truck and properly note the damage on the receiving slip or Bill of Lading. Additionally, if product is damaged, please call HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS ( ) immediately to speed the claims process. Any and all damage must be noted on the bill of receipt in detail and signed by the driver. If damage did occur during transit, a copy of the bill of receipt will need to be faxed to HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS ( ) in order for HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS to file a claim with the trucking company, and for replacement product to be sent out to the customer or a credit issued. Limited Access Issues All freight deliveries will arrive, in most cases, in a full size tractor trailer truck with 18 wheels, such as common long haul trucks you might see on the freeway system. It is the customer s responsibility to notify HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS at the time of order, if your delivery location has potential limited access issues. Any and all re-delivery charges incurred will be billed back to the customer if delivery is attempted and cannot be completed. Summer Shipping HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS seasonally adjusts our shipping schedule during the summer months. This may extend delivery times and we ask that you consider this policy when placing your orders. HIGHLAND BEEF FARMS chooses to ship directly from our manufacturing plants rather than a distribution center to ensure you receive the freshest product available. Product Code Dates The date on most of our products is a Julian date and is based on the day the product was formulated and packaged.
