3 GETTING STARTED 1 Reduction Reason Codes Last updated on (06/01/2016) CRN (Confirmation Response Not Received) If there is no Supply Confirmation quantity; ENVOY will reduce the nomination quantity to zero. CPR (Confirmation Part Reduction) If the Supply Confirmation quantity is less than the Nomination Quantity, ENVOY will reduce the market Nomination quantity to equal the Supply Confirmation. ICN (Invalid Contract) If a contract is not valid, Envoy is unable to process a transaction. EPB-O (Elapsed pro-rata Balancing OSD) This is an adjustment to the off-system deliveries (OSD) backhaul elapsed pro-rata quantity used to facilitate the balancing of the OSD contract. ECM-F (Exceeded Contract MDQ) If the total confirmation quantity for the Firm BTSC exceeds its firm capacity, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the capacity. ECM-I (Exceeded Contract MDQ) If the total nomination quantity for the interruptible BTSC exceeds its firm capacity, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the capacity. IIR-F (Insufficient Injection Rights Firm) If the total nomination quantity for the Firm Storage injection contract exceeds its contract rights, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the contract rights. IIR-I (Insufficient Injection Rights Interruptible) If the total nomination quantity for the Interruptible storage injection contract exceeds its contract rights, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the contract rights. IWR-F (insufficient Withdrawal Rights Firm) If the total nomination quantity for the Firm storage withdrawal contract exceeds its contract rights, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the contract rights IWR-I (Insufficient Withdrawal Rights Interruptible) If the total nomination quantity for the Interruptible Storage withdrawal contract exceeds its contract rights, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the contract rights EIB (Exceeds Inventory Balance) If the total nomination quantity for Firm or Interruptible storage injection exceeds the storage account s inventory balance, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the storage inventory balance. EIR (Exceeds Inventory Rights) If the total nomination quantity for Firm or Interruptible storage injection exceeds the storage account s inventory rights, Envoy will reduce the nomination to equal the storage inventory rights. EPM (Exceeds Point MDQ) If the supply confirmation quantity exceeds the MDQ QER (Quantity Exceeds MDQ of Associated Contract) There is a special group of California Producers with a group MDV. If the group s confirmation exceeds the group s MDV, then the confirmations for one specific CP agreement are reduced. 3

4 HOFO-F (High Operation Flow Order Firm Injections) On High OFO days and non-ofo days, firm storage injections are reduced when injection nominations exceed storage injection capacity. HOFO-I (High Operation Flow Order Interruptible Injections) On High OFO days and non-ofo days, interruptible storage injections will be reduced by price when injection nominations exceed storage injection capacity. LOFO-F (Low Operation Flow Order Firm Withdrawals) On LOW OFO days and non-ofo days, firm storage withdrawals are reduced when withdrawal nominations exceed storage withdrawal capacity. LOFO-I (Low Operation Flow Order Interruptible Withdrawals) On LOW OFO days and non-ofo days, interruptible storage withdrawals are reduced when withdrawal nominations exceed storage withdrawal capacity. CBL-R (Contract Balancing Receipt Point Pool) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the RPPL when the RPPL is balanced. CBL-B (Contract Balancing Backbone) This reduction reason applies to the BTSC as a market contract when the BTSC is balanced. CBL-C (Contract Balancing City Gate Pool) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the CGPL as a market contract when the CGPL is balanced. CBL-O (Contract Balancing OSD) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD when the OSD is balanced. CBL-G (Contract Balancing G99) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the G99 imbalance holding account when the G99 imbalance holding account is balanced. CCR-R (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Receipt Point) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the BTSC as a market when the Receipt Point is balanced. CCR-S (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Sub Zone) This reduction reason applies to a reduction to the BTSC as a market contract when the Receipt Point is balanced. CCR-A (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Area Zone) This reduction reasons applies to reductions to the BTSC as a market contract when the Newberry Area is balanced. This reduction code applies to nominations made at the Needles and Topock Sub-zones. CCR-Z (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Zone) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the BTSC as a market when the Zone is balanced. CCR-C (Pipeline Capacity Constraint System Capacity) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the BTSC as a market when the system is balanced. CCD-R (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Delivery Point) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the Delivery point is balanced to its off-system capacity as posted per cycle. CCD-S (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Sub Zone) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the Sub Zone is balanced to its off-system capacity as posted per cycle. 4

5 CCD-A (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Area Zone) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the Area Zone is balanced to its off-system capacity as posted per cycle. CCD-Z (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Zone) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the Sub Zone is balanced to its off-system capacity as posted per cycle. CCD-C (Pipeline Capacity Constraint Off-System Capacity) This reduction reason applies to reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the Zone is balanced to its off-system capacity as posted per cycle. IBQ-D (Insufficient Backhaul Quantity Delivery Point) This reduction reason applies to the reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the system is balanced at the Delivery Point. IBQ-S (Insufficient Backhaul Quantity Sub Zone) This reduction reason applies to the reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the system is balanced at the Sub-Zone. IBQ-A (Insufficient Backhaul Quantity Area Zone) This reduction reason applies to the reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the system is balanced at the Area Zone. IBQ-Z (Insufficient Backhaul Quantity Zone) This reduction reason applies to the reductions to the OSD as a supply contract when the system is balanced at the Zone. REI (Reinstatement) This code applies to reinstatements that occur to various contracts once all the confirmation rules have been satisfied. EDQ (Exceeds Delivered Quantity) This occurs only on the Intraday 4 Cycle when the nomination to inject into storage is greater than the quantity delivered to the End User account during the Intraday 3 cycle. EIC (Exceeds Injection Capacity) This reduction occurs only in Intraday 4 when the nominations for storage injection exceed the storage injection capacity. PRR (Pipeline Reduction at the Receipt Point) The Upstream Operator schedules less than what was confirmed by SoCalGas. This reduction only occurs during the allocation process. PRD (Pipeline Reduction at Delivery Point) The Downstream Operator scheduled less than what was confirmed by SoCalGas. This reduction only occurs during the allocation process. 5
