2 Equipment Features The following information is provided as a guide to the features and capabilities of the Fibre King range of Meat Industry-specific equipment. The Fibre King team put 50 years of packaging expertise into the task of designing a line of specialised machinery to handle the demands of meat production lines. The range features: Heavy Duty Construction. Our equipment is designed for use in 24 hour per day production environments, for a serviceable life of in excess of 15 years. Quick Changeover Times. Changeovers are fast and repeatable. Motorised changeover of major components is available as an option. Colour Touchscreen with full monitoring of machine status and diagnostics. Internet access enables our engineers to provide exceptional levels of remote support. Quiet Operation. Less than 80dB. Clean and Open Design with easy operator and maintenance access. Robust Guarding. Electrically interlocked to AS or equivalent International Standard. Tray Erector Tray Erector with Lamination If you need a perfectly square tray with excellent glue bonding to deliver superior stacking strength then this is the only machine on the market that will deliver. The Laminator Tray Erector is able to run chilled bases with unlaminated and pre-laminated stock. Features: Automatic lamination of trays, which creates a double wall of support for contents and superior base strength (compared to board laminated in a continuous run) and minimises stress to the board during folding and gluing. Pre-laminated stock can be run through the machine. Secure seal with no chance of product contamination. Automatic tray height change without slowing production: automatic size change using a servo controlled system that detects tray height changes and adjust all settings accordingly. Can handle the heaviest of board grades seen in the meat industry. Excellent glue bonding during lamination is a result of self levelling compression mechanisms which handle the variations typical of corrugate board. Flexible layout options. 3 Lidding Machine Meat Palletiser 1-6 Mag Chilled and/or Frozen Lidder CP20-30 Palletiser The Fibre King Lidder range was designed after extensive consultation with the meat industry. The machines incorporate a number of unique features that deliver both increased machine uptime and reduced maintenance requirements. The completed cases are square and true, with excellent bonding of the lid to the base. Features: 304 stainless steel. Products: chilled or frozen dedicated machines or a combined chilled/frozen machine. Production rate: chilled 20cpm, frozen 17cpm. Magazine upgrades: 1 to 6 (expandable). Multiple case heights: random lidding of common footprint cases. Flexible layout: can be configured for custom infeed/ outfeed orientations. With the inclusion of the pivoting flight bar conveyor, the machine is future proofed for relocation. Easy installation: Designed to be shipped in one piece, within standard shipping restrictions. Door step indexer: positive case separation with excellent line pressure control. Fibre King palletisers are renown the world over for their strength and reliability. Features: Small footprint for speed capability. Lift and turn case orientation allows for exact 90 rotation and does not require changes when handling a wide range of case sizes. With the addition of a servo drive, case labels can always be presented to the outside of the pallet. Pallet dispenser uses full length tynes. Most competitors use small supports in each corner which will cause a jam if a board is missing or loose. Empty pallets are transported into pallet lift on a sheet metal shuttle which reduces stoppages if boards are hanging down or nails are protruding. Most competitors use conveyors in this area. The combination of fork tyne dispenser and sheet metal shuttle reduces the likelihood of obstructions at the bottom of the empty pallet stack, an area where clearing them is very difficult. Option for automatic size change of both case size (pattern/layers/datums) and pallets (subject to confirmation). Flight bar case transport: positive case location with load distribution across the case to minimise the risk of case damage. Endless chain dog style lid indexing system: synchronised to the flight bar case transport ensures 100% matching of lid to case. 4 Options Across all models there are a number of options: Stack heights: 1650/1950/2550mm including pallet. Pallet board inserter: places a pallet board or slip sheet (typically plastic or cardboard) on the pallet before the first layer. Modular Systems: the CP20 CP50 range can be supplied as modular systems utilising common empty and/or full pallet handling systems. Such systems can incorporate a single pallet dispenser and pallet board inserter feeding 2 6 palletisers. Full pallets are conveyed on a common full pallet conveyor through a single stretchwrapper to the warehouse or truck loading system. Layer pad inserter: places a layer pad board (typically plastic or cardboard) in between layers anywhere on the pallet. The use of a layer pad inserter reduces the maximum output of the palletiser. Automatic size change: motorised or pneumatic adjustment of datum fences. Multiple pallet sizes: palletisers can be designed to suit multiple pallet sizes, change over between pallet sizes involves either change parts or may be able to be automated. Modular line using three palletisers in an inline configuration. Half pallet: for some half pallet applications the palletiser can be configured to palletise two pallets at the same time. Unitising: product is stacked onto a pallet board only, no pallet is used. This machine can be also be configured to run either as a palletiser or unitiser. Two-Tiering: one completed pallet is raised, then a second positioned underneath. The top pallet is lowered and the double stack then discharged. Why take a risk? 5 Robotic Palletisers Building on our 50 plus year history of case and pallet handling systems, we now offer the robotic range of palletisers. Utilising the latest in robot and gripper technology we can deliver a completely integrated solution. Standalone Robot: in its most basic form a single robot with an advanced gripper can be used to unstack empty pallets, place pallet boards and/or slip sheets and palletise cases. This can be done either directly on the floor (for hand trolley/forklift/lgv removal) or onto powered pallet conveyors. Modular Systems: one or more robots can be integrated with a remote pallet dispenser and pallet handling equipment to deliver a large and flexible system Typically robots have advantages for multi-line slow speed applications.
