1 ADP Vantage HCM: Transfer an Employee s Time to a Introduction Depending on your company s configuration, you may have access to transfer an employee s time to different labor account. If one of your employees will be working in another department or job other than his standard assignment, you must transfer his hours worked to a different account. Transfer an Employee s Time to a Different Labor Account Starting Point: My Team > Time & Attendance > QuickFind 1 In the QuickFind window, in the Name or ID field, enter the last name of the employee for whom you will transfer time to a different labor account and click the search (magnifying glass) icon. Note: If you want to view multiple employees on this workspace, leave the asterisk in the Name or ID field and click Find. All employees to whom you have access are displayed. 2 From the Time Period field, select the appropriate time period. 3 Double-click the name of the employee. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 1 of 5

2 4 Click the Transfer field. 5 Note: Ask your manager for the information you need to complete the transfer. Click Search to locate the labor account information. In the Transfer window, click Labor Account. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 2 of 5

3 6 For each labor level field that applies, select a value. Repeat this step as necessary to complete the labor levels for the transfer selection. Depending on your role and access permissions, you may be able to search for a division, location, department, manager, and/or job. Note: If you have a large number of selections in a labor level, you can narrow down the search by entering, for example, 888????. This will give you criteria based on the labor level search criteria. In this example, the solution would return department numbers starting with Click Apply. 8 The new labor account information appears in the Transfer field. Click Save. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. 4 Notes: If you have searched for a labor account in the past, the most recently used information appears in the Transfer field. You can use that information or search for different account information. Multiple labor account transfers may occur in a single day. If you transfer an employee to another labor account at the beginning of the shift, the entire shift hours will be transferred unless you transfer the employee back into his/her primary account.
