Pg. 2 The Venture Welcome to the Illumine world where we illuminate your home. Were we targeting different kind of people. It is house decorations to make your home glamorous and beautiful. Were we enhanced our creativity and to show people around the world that what you think is waste could be useful and could turn into a beautiful product. This business is special than other business not just because we use some recycling materials but also, we always assure that we make long lasting products. This business fit into Rural and Urban areas. However, this could also be an In-house business for Moms that is looking for a job. They could sell their products and share their creative ideas they made to the Illumine World Co. Our main building that could be built in City of Ottawa. This business could be branch and delivered to different areas such as the City of Regina and small town like Weyburn Saskatchewan. Of course, equipment s for this business is needed and would appreciate recycling materials that could use, such as, Hula hoop, strings, candles, jars etc. Obviously, we would put up list of the recycling materials that we only need for the business. The thirty percent of our means proceeds to charities such as Action Against Hunger, Canada Breast Cancer Foundation.
Pg. 3 Products or Service Our business would sell creative handmade home designs that specialize Chandeliers. Our products provide customers beautiful home decorations that makes their house look classy and fascinating. The products are perfect to design their living room, kitchen, bathrooms and beds. It could not just be for houses, we also have products that would attracts business owners to design their facilities, such as hotels, restaurant and any other businesses. We take care of our products and made sure that our designs are unique. We would hire talented engineer in our company to check our products and to make sure it is safe. Our customers would not just have perfect interior designs but also helped our charities. We would also buy in-house products to sell in our company it means that we accept other people s ideas and designs to help them to sell their products. It is also a terrific way to advertise our company. We are here to enhance creative abilities and to inspire others.
Pg. 4 Marketing and Prices Restaurant, hotels, motels, churches, schools, business owners, houses, etc. Any kind of people are welcome to buy our products it means that everyone is our target market. Our prices depend on the materials that is used to make our products. We would double the price to divide it to our workers, facilities and charities. We decided to do it this way to make sure that everything would be balance. We have a website that customers could contact us and they can also order online. Our business is going to be well advertise because of the people that could be part of it. We also have promos that we would advertise such as free installation, free delivery, and buy one take one to attract customers. We would also help fundraiser for sports and other extracurricular activities to involve students and staff. Our business could possibly branch throughout North America.
Pg. 5 Workers and Day to day In our company, we also focus on our employees, because great employees make great products. Products that we brought from house workers would be sent to the shop one where we check products that we brought and focus on the things that we can change or fix. In the office is where an engineer and interior designers make or drew their ideas that they would want to make. Shop two is where we make all the products. Workers start their jobs at ten in the morning and leave at four in the afternoon, we make sure that workers work wisely in the given time by writing down what they did in that day by the end of their shifts. Office and table workers are paid $17.00 per hour and get paid $1,360 bi-weekly. Interior designers are paid $20.00 per hour. Workers must graduate elementary and high school and have the creativity skills and an engineer. We also look for job experiences. As I say we also promote recycled products it means that we appreciate materials from people that they won t use, we would also buy new materials that we would need such as woods, cords etc. We would also advertise our products by posting pictures from our website pages, magazine and newspaper.
Pg. 6 Money Plans Approximate start up expenses and supplies costs include; 2 story building $500, Workers $50, Tables $ Paint, shingles, new flooring $50, Power bills $ Water $ New bathroom materials (toilet, sink, etc.) $10, Equipment for the products (lights, cords, woods,) $5, Workers equipment $5, Flat screen TV $4, Chairs $ Sofa $ Doors $3, Advertisement $5, Products brought $10, Office equipment (phone, file cabinets, $ etc.) Desk and Chair $ Computer and Printer $2, Other Fees $20, Charities Depends on the profit Total $667, My startup cost would be approximately $667, I will be giving $150, As my parents supports me, they will be giving additional investments of $30, for both, plus my 3 other siblings as shareholders would give $40, The building would be paid from the profit we made. We hope that we will be out of dept. after 10 years. The business would have to make at least $5, a month which make $60, per year.
Pg. 7 Income Sheet Company: Illumine World Co. Sales Products that is selling made by Inhouse workers Products that is made in Illumine building Total Amount for the Year $75, $200, Installments, deliveries and service fee $90, Total Sales (1) $365, Cost of Sales #1 Cost of the products we brought $40, #2 Cost of the products that we made $65, #3 Workers Commission wages by doing the installments and service fees $50, Total Cost of Sales (2) $155, General Expenses Marketing and Ads $2, Insurance $5, Loan Payment none Office Supplies $3, Mortgage or Rent None Repairs $5, Tools and Equipment $5, Phone and utilities $2, Vehicle Costs $5, Employee wages (Including myself and $160, family) Employers benefits $20, Total General Expenses (3) $207, *Income 365, , , = $3,000
The Illumine World make at least $3,000 from its first service. Workers wages will increase depends on the profit we make each year. Every year would be different because, our business would possibly get known more each year. Pg. 8 Why did you pick this business idea? Would you consider starting your own business in the future? I pick this business idea because I would like to start a business that have a substantial impact to everyone. I like helping others by making a business that supports charities. So far, I have never heard of this business idea, I thought of it because it also benefits people who has a terrific creativity, I want them to share their talents. I know that in businesses there is up and down, but that does not mean that you should stop trying and I know that this business idea is not really a common business plan such as restaurants, gym or anything like that because there is not much people that really value arts and they think that it is not important they don t see art the way I see it but I think it is unique in many ways. I would consider starting a business in the future to make a difference and inspire entrepreneurs to accomplish their dreams.
