Portable Rockwell Hardness Tester (HR Rockwell Hardness Tester) is a great innovation in Rockwell hardness testers. Miniaturization and portability are realized without reducing testing accuracy. The smallest model weighs only 0.7kg, and the operation is similar to that of a micrometer. PTS Portable Rockwell Hardness Testers read directly in 15 Rockwell scales: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, P, R, S, and V. The accuracy meets the requirement of GB/T230, ISO6508 and ASTM E18. The test is accurate, relatively fast and simple, with small indentation non-destructive to most specimens. They have smaller test forces and thus smaller indentation, used to test the hardness of thin and small work pieces such as thin metal sheets, tubing, thin shafts, small balls, case hardened materials and other metal parts which require indentation as small as possible. Test range covers low-hardness materials like aluminum, lead, tin; mid-hardness materials like aluminum alloys, copper, copper alloys, stainless steel, cold rolled sheets, tinplate; and high-hardness materials like thin and hard steel strips, carburized and nitride steel. The test result reads in 15 scales, N, T, W, X and Y. The accuracy meets the requirements of GB/T230, ISO6508, ASTM E18. The test principle and accuracy comply with standard ISO6508 and ASTM E110. It is tested by National Institute of Metrology with tolerance 1.5HRC, equivalent to bench hardness tester. It offers quick test, easy operation, good repeatability, high accuracy, and no sampling required. Tests work pieces of any shape and dimension only if there is enough flat or cylindrical surface to fix the tester. It tests horizontally, slantingly and vertically. 9 PHB-3000 Portable Brinell Hardness Tester PHB-3000 portable instrument has the same structure as King Brinell hardness tester. It has a hydraulic system and the test force is applied by means of a handle. PHB-3000 portable Brinell hardness tester has the same structure as King Brinell hardness tester. The test condition applies 3000kg test force on a 10mm carbide indenter. It can result in permanent indentations for re-inspection. The test condition meets the requirements of ISO 6506 and ASTM E110.
