It can be used as a moisture barrier avoiding humidity entering pipes, rigid or flexible ducts, and as insulating material in general. Although there are many makes using different materials and adhesives, our product is heat resistant (up to 93 C) to be applied on steam pipes. REINFOCED ALUMINUM TAPE The aluminum-reinforced auto-adhesive tape is manufactured with an aluminum foil reinforced with a fiberglass mesh of 2x3 per square inch pattern for a higher tensile strength of the material.
