This brochure describes products that are commercially available in the European, Middle East and African regions. The EPIKOTE epoxy product range includes a wide variety of modified liquid epoxy resins, epoxy resin blends, and purified epoxy resins. The basis of this product line is the liquid resin EPIKOTE Resin 828, the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A. EPIKOTE Resin 862, the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol F, is also important. Multifunctional epoxy resins such as epoxy phenolic novolacs are available as well, for increased chemical resistance and hardness. The EPIKOTE epoxy product range includes resins of varying molecular weight and melting point, either in solid or in solution, for ease of handling. For greater versatility in epoxy performance, Hexion Inc. (Hexion) offers its line of HELOXY reactive modifiers. These are epoxy functionalized alcohols, diols, polyols and acids that give formulators the capability to choose among monofunctional and poly-functional glycidyl ethers and flexibilizers for their formulating needs.
