4 Surface Preparation Of Riser As part of the installation of the sleeve, a system has been developed for the removal of marine growth, neoprene liners and coatings of up to 3.00 m below MSL, without the intervention of divers The lightweight, modular equipment can be installed by a crew of 2 technicians and is capable of achieving surface cleanliness of up to Swedish Standard SA 2.5 by means of high pressure water - and abrasive blasting The level of cleanliness can be monitored from the top deck through attached CCTV cameras Preliminary Riser Surface Preparation 1.
