1 FORMULATION EPOXY - POLYURETHANNE Date : 28 th April 2015 MOULAGE POLYURETHANNE Remplace : 7 th March 2013 RAIGITHANE J 7627 / RAIGIDUR F GENERAL DESCRIPTION : POLYURETHANE SYSTEM FOR CABLE JUNCTION The polyurethane system Raigithane J 7627 / Raigidur F polymerizes at room temperature by manual mixing or on a two components machine. MAIN FEATURES: - The cast resin branch joint 0.6/1.0kV (Raigithane J7627/ Raigidur F) passed the type test with minimal conductor size 4x25mm 2 and with maximal conductor size 4x150mm 2 according to DIN EN (VDE ) Test report RWE N 14_ In accordance with the 2002/95CE Directive (called ROHS s Directive), this system doesn t contain any dangerous component. - Raigithane J7627 has been formulated with polyols based on renewable resources. - Due to its excellent dielectrical properties, this system is particularly recommended for cable junction filling (Low and Medium voltage) and for electronic and electrical overcasting. - Its quality of semi-rigid elastomer brings, beside excellent mechanical resistance, a complete adhesion on most sections of modern cables. - The system has been evaluated in accordance with the HD631.1 S2 electrical standard of December 2007 for elastomeric component without solvent. 4 RAIGITHANE J7627 / RAIGIDUR F Safety precautions for obtaining an homogeneous mixture : Open Raigithane J7627 (can) and Raigidur F (flacon). Pour immediately and completely the contents of the small bottle (Raigidur F) in the large container (Raigithane J7627) Mix thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture Pour immediately at the end of mixing in the cable junction. PACKAGING Raigithane J 7627: drums of 250 kg Raigidur F: drums of 250 kg. On request, available in two compartment bags from 175ml to 2400ml approximately and in 2 component kits from 7 to 10 liters approximately. STORAGE : Do not leave the drums open. 5 RAIGITHANE J7627 / RAIGIDUR F PRECAUTIONS Avoid any contact with skin and eyes. The port of gloves, safety goggles and working clothes is strongly recommended. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If irritation appears, seak medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. Work only in ventilated area. Use local exhaust extraction over processing area in the event of closed areas. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheets for additional information concerning the safety and the working conditions. STORAGE Raigithane J7627 can be stored up to 3 months safe from moisture and the direct solar radiation, at a temperature between +5 C and + 40 C, in unopened origin packing. Raigidur F can be stored up to 3 months safe from moisture and the direct solar radiation, at a temperature between +5 C and + 40 C, in unopened origin packing. An opened package must carefully be closed again under nitrogen cover to be stored safe from moisture.
