2 The Success Story In January 2015, Hills Advertising won the exclusive advertising rights of the LED on Sheikh Zayed Road for a duration of 10 years which is a very high achievement believing the high visibility and uniqueness of the location makes it the most prime location in UAE and in the middle east as a whole. We believe in offering a wide range of solutions to suit all industries and needs which is why we have engineered two options for advertising consisting of two LED screens facing both directions towards Dubai and Abu Dhabi. 3 What is LED A LED digital display, uses an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to show computer-programmed images and text, which are easily changed and updated using Display Management Solution software. Traditional signage and adverstising has one chance to convey all necessary information to customers. A digital billboard, on the other hand, can display multiple messages that appeal and inform customers of products and services. The artwork/ content created for LED digital display should be appraoched differently than artwork created for magazine/ newspaper advertisements or television commercials. Advantages of LED Screens: Visibility is higher during day and night. Offers a room for creativity. Multiple artworks can be displayed, offering a space for several products by the same brand. 4 About our LED The LED is situated on the busiest and most prestigious part of Sheikh Zayed Road. Covering traffic from all ends of the highway and heading in all directions; such as Emirates Towers, Dubai Mall, DIFC, Emaar Boulevard, Jumeirah, Business Bay, Abu Dhabi, etc the route to all main landmarks, highways and districts. 7 Guidelines Digital Content Guidelines Effective content is absolutely critical for all digital display to bring the sales you expect. The following guidelines may be used to assure visual quality of digital signage: The content should be Simple, Bold, Legible, Brief. Narrow the focus and decide what your message will be. Make it concise. The audience must be able to see the artwork, scan for details, and make an assessment of the data in a few seconds. 11 3 Basic Principles To create digital display content that wins the glance and captivates your audience, follow these 3 basic principles: 1 Composition Use the levels as guidelines to capture the viewer s attention. 2 Typography Select easy to read typefaces. Narrow, focus and decide what your message will be. 3 Color Make your digital content pop with colors that work.
