Economic performance and delivery of public goods will be evaluated on the basis of different indicators at farm, farm-group and territorial levels. Specific emphasis on analysis of the labour productivity in terms of the amount and value of private and public goods produced. Need to re-invent wheel? Reflect and build on existing initiatives to provide tools and strategies to improve sustainable and healthy dietary behaviour and lifestyle in children.

48 SFS How to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic RIA Topic budget 20mio - Indicative EU contribution/project 10mio On the challenge, objectives, the problem that we are trying to solve: Obesity Challenge can be addressed via different societal challenges within Horizon 2020 (links with areas such as food, human genetics, consumer behaviour, etc.) Cross cutting issues Prevention through food, diet and consumer behaviour. Therapeutic treatment of obesity is excluded (Health Programme) On the scope, activities, what the proposal should cover: Proposals should consider the specific challenge and the scope in order to address the expected impacts in the best way. The broadness of the interdisciplinary approach sought out of H2020 projects should be such that it is able to address the challenges posed, cover its scope and meet the expected impact Multi-actor approach Proposals evaluated based on their own merit on the proposed activities and on the resulted impact that would be achieved following H2020 evaluation criteria

53 SFS Earth observation services for the monitoring of agricultural production in Africa RIA; topic budget 10mio; indicative EU contribution/project 10mio Specific Challenge The Fourth EU-Africa Summit of 2-3 April 2014 agreed on a roadmap for therefore this topic aims: To contribute to this roadmap by providing food supply projection and agricultural risk assessment for Africa. To collect information on environmental and weather conditions, climate change, crops and livestock derived from both remote and in-situ Earth observation systems. To make agricultural production in Africa more predictable using Earth observation assets (i.e. made available via the GEOSS and Copernicus programmes) 53
