Box 2291 DAR ES SALAAM Mobile: SHORT SUMMARY I am a professional agricultural scientist and have worked with the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security and Cooperatives for more than thirty (30) years under different capacities in the field of pest management and environment conservation. Since 1989, I was incharge of pesticides management in Agriculture, also member of the National Chemicals Technical committee and member of Pesticides Approval and Registration committee. I participated in the negotiations of the Multilateral Environment Agreements and also took part in developing of the legal framework for their adoption/implementation in Tanzania. I participated in development and implementation of SAICM in Tanzania and in East African countries. I was the Assistant Director Plant Health Services (Plant Protection) and retired in I am currently a freelance consultant and Director of Agricultural Consultancy and Solutions Company Limited. I am also Secretary of the Science Technology and Innovations for Women in Tanzania (STI4WT) an association whose major function is to promote Science Technology and Mathematics (STEM) education. I am also a member of AGENDA for Environment an NGO dealing with environment conservation. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: B. Sc.
